Not impressed. We booked here based on the rave reviews and are regretting it. We got in at 11pm and found a sequence of things that didn't work, but we were only here for one night (13hr stay) and it just wasn't reasonable to call them out for every singular thing. For instance: the extra double bed that supposedly sleeps three was actually two twin beds fastened together. Not great for a couple who likes to sleep in the centre together, but even worse I'd imagine for a third person who has to sleep on the join in the middle. Besides that, the bed was incredibly hard, and the centre edges are even firmer, leading to a lot of tossing and turning.

In addition, we couldn't get the blind to stay down for love or money. Perhaps I was just missing something but I ended up holding it down with a clothes hanger fastened under a chair leg. Of the two bedside lamps, only one worked. I managed to get the one on my side to turn on by accident for half a second as I moved the cord, then heard a fizzling sound and couldn't get it back. The heater in the bedroom was either broken in itself or the display was a dud, but either way the result was that there were two settings: on or off. We opted for on, and by a few hours later it was approaching 30° in the bedroom. Lastly, the shower. The part that fastens the shower head to the bar was impossible to adjust. We are both tall people and were pleased to see that the shower head could be raised above our own, but the only position it wanted to be in was eye-level and facing the back corner. I spent twenty minutes messing with it, trying to force it to stay somewhere useful. This resulted in the bar coming out of the bracket entirely. In the end, I tied the fastener to the top of the bar with a towel. Decidedly not the best shower I've ever had.

In addition, we ordered dinner in and the delivery person was unable to contact us upon arrival due to our international numbers. I got a notification that they were downstairs and raced down but was unable to find them. In desperation, I asked the concierge if they'd come in. The concierge said yes, they had been in, and chased down the street with me in tow to try and find the driver. I appreciate them helping us flag down our food, but I'm confused why they didn't try to call us when the driver arrived and inquired in the first place.

Pros: you get an entire small apartment, very quiet, feels very private. Random cooking utensils. Everything else worked. If you've got the patience and time to get their help with multiple things, maybe it would be worth a longer stay. But for one night, I'd say...

I stayed in Drury Court as a stopgap arrangement for a night, but I am glad I did. There are many hotels in this area, and most of them are good, so beyond a point its the people who make a difference and Drury court is the perfect example of it.

As far as the hotel is concerned its located in the middle of the downtown, very accessible via public transport as well but somehow feels quiet and isolated at the same time. The rooms are neat and clean, decent sized with the old style charm but also have a good modern bathroom. The interior decoration of the rooms is done in a very thoughful way, which gives a personal touch and happy vibe. The room is equipped with anything and everything you will need for your stay, the TV supports streaming (it doesnt happen everywhere in EU) and they even had the Netflix guest account logged in (hope that was not by mistake :D).

Coming back to the people, right from the begining I was made to feel very welcome with bright and smiling staff. I was given the information about things to do nearby, commute and places to eat around. Their kitchen/restaurent was under renovation but I did not miss much due to lot of breakfast places around. I forgot my Germany to Ireland connecting adapter, and they were so kind to even lend me one for my stay.

Overall it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend Drury Court for a...

We are a family of 3 and we stayed at this hotel in December and we recommend it 100%. The location is excellent, you can walk to all parts of the city. Congratulations to all the reception staff, they are excellent, in particular we want to congratulate Emma for her attention. Her recommendations were excellent. I would say to the management of this hotel to take care of this girl, you don't find staff like her! You probably have one of the best receptionists in Europe in your hotel.... great job Emma! Also we recommend you to have breakfast in the hotel, it is in the pub next to the hotel and the specialities and also the buffet were delicious, the staff at the breakfast service were also very nice. We would also like to congratulate the cleaning staff for their work. Everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend to improve would be to improve the maintenance of the furniture in the room and remove the carpets, it is very typical in Ireland and England but the wood is definitely much better. Thank you very much to all the hotel team! If we come back to Dublin we will definitely come again! By the way, try the pub menu in front of the hotel! The typical Irish dishes are delicious (Hairy Lemon). All the best from Barcelona!...

I cannot praise this hotel enough. My husband and I booked several rooms for the night before and the night of our wedding at the beginning of August and simply had the most delightful experience. Staff- The hotel staff went above and beyond to be kind and friendly Location- The location is perfect for staying in Dublin City and is near public transport Rooms- The rooms are all lovely, comfortable, clean and well maintained. Parking- the hotel has a deal with two different parking spots nearby which is great and more affordable than I expected The bar and the bar staff were also incredible and a big shout out to the bar manager who was so happy for us and congratulated us when we came back to the total bar for a night cap after the long day. His memory was fantastic. The only thing I could say that might be improved is that there wasn’t enough vegan friendly options on the breakfast menu, but that is the only thing I could suggest. Sorry I did not take any photos of the rooms

The hotel is brilliantly situated - close to St Stephen's Green and Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, and within 10 minutes walk of the city centre. Day tours also depart from locations within 5-10 minutes walk. They offer loads of information on what to do in Dublin and day trips across Ireland. The room had plenty of storage space, as well as a safe. They do a great breakfast, both continental and full Irish. The staff were great, and the hotel even has one of only four copies of the Book of Kells, if you don't want to pay to see it at Trinity College. Do give the Hairy Lemon bar across the road a try - it's absolutely brilliant with great food, homemade lager and Darren, the best host ever! No bar fridge in the room, but it wasn't a great concern, as we didn't spend much time there. The wifi was a bit iffy at times, and from the photos, I expected a small sitting area, which we didn't have. However, the rest more than made up for that
