I stayed there the other day with my greyhound Djinn and it was absolutely fantastic! We truly felt like home.
I was looking for a place to have an afternoon coffee (not many places in Dublin...) and to stay with my dog, albeit in the terrace, but it was too cold to stay outside and many places were already closing... I was going to give up and go back home when we passed in front of this Nutbutter and the waitresses greeted us from the window, so my dog stopped at the door. At the moment, they run to welcome us, invited us to come in and sit us at the bottom in a large table to feel more comfortable, even allowing him to sit on the bench! He was covered in petting and attention from the first moment, they brought him water and treats and made sure we both were feeling cosy and welcome.
I can say I've never felt so wined and dined before, specially bringing a big dog with me. Bruna and Elisa were so kind and nice that I spent most of the time speaking with them, and Djinn was absolutely delighted with both, he was so comfortable in the bench he didn't move and didn't want to leave when we had to. I could have my afternoon snack, my coffee and my Matcha bar where so tasty, I felt a bit bad not ordering anything else this time... But we'll come back for lunch or dinner for sure. New favourite place in Dublin!
You guys made my day; you so don't know how powerful it is to be this nice with someone...
Read moreThis place has the best quality and tastiest food I've seen with an affordable price range (including their house wine). They have the most pleasant decoration, chill atmosphere, nicest staff and I can't get enough from it. I think their menu presentation does not do justice to how solid their formulas are, I'd describe it as fancy quality food masked as low-cost... Whatever it is, it works for us tremendously well. I'm obsessed with their salmon tostadas, and happy to complete mains with their simple but efficient lentils broth. Once you've been a few times you'll start to recognize their sauces selection and protein choices, but the possible combinations allow to make it a varied enough to, at least, not get bored, and moreover, be excited about each iteration. They're dog friendly, to a fault, with my dog being offered snacks both on the way in and the way out by the lovely people who run the place. I hope they do well and that people discover it, because, as much as I love being able to easily find a table, I also don't want to lose this brilliant spot, and they do deserve all...
Read moreIâm not a fan of social media and leaving online comments, but after we left Nutbutter in Smithfield I decided to find a way to spread my gratitude. The food was divine, it was an explosion of flavours and I can not forget to mention that itâs healthy! The ambience is fabulous, they were having an engineer setting up the lights by the time my partner and I were there, meanwhile some candles on the tables were making the place even more cosier. Service was intelligent and a show off, the couple of managers and staff were SUPER friendly, extra patient to explain the menu. Everything we had was recommend by the gentleman at the till, tacos goes very well with a glass of wine. Actually I could spend my whole night having wine and listening to the song that was playing. A mix of live, acoustic and studio music plus the raining outside was turning the place into a movie restaurant scenario. Thank you to everyone, we are coming back for sure. Nutbutter is my new religion from now on....
