I'll start by saying that one of the most exquisite combinations I tried was the burrata dish, where you could pair the burrata with a delicious fig that had the perfect balance of sweetness (not too sweet, not too bitter). We were truly impressed. Don't miss out on trying this combination! Next, we had the salmon tartare, which was delicious, and for the main course, we went with chicken and beef. As Argentinians and meat lovers, the beef was perfectly cooked! The broccoli purée alongside the chicken, which was very tender, was so good that we asked to take the leftovers with us! The portions are super generous. The service was impeccable, and the staff had a great vibe, just how we like it. In terms of service and food quality, it's one of the best places we've been to in Dublin. Let's not forget the wine—we finished the entire bottle between the two of us! It was super smooth and the perfect choice to complement the meal.

I reeeeaaallly wanted that bone marrow I kept seeing in reviews but, unfortunately, it was not on the menu the night I went. I had a delicious small plate of ox cheeks instead. I paired that with deliciously buttery garlicky kale. Washed it all down with a local ginger beer. Everything was perfect until I ordered the apple blackberry crumble which essentially was crumbs over jam. I mistakenly assumed it would be chunks of fruit. It was tasty, but it works better as a breakfast than a dinner dessert. Everything on the menu looked great and the beverage and wine menus were impressive. I would definitely return if near the neighborhood again. Service was top notch.

Staff professional and friendly. The rest very disappointing.  We had three small plates (chicken wings €15, beetroot dip €14, and seared tuna €15) which were tasty, but was basically street food style dishes at michelin bib prices. The monkfish curry (more street food) at €35 was overcooked and dry. The side of baby roast potatoes €7 was cremated and inedible. So we paid €42 for an overcooked/burnt main course. The bottle of white wine we choose from the over complex and overpriced menu was warm. Long story later, we settled for the staff  choice of a chilled option, which was meh! We passed on dessert and had one at home instead. Felt a bit duped here, guys .

After months willing to come to this place, unfortunately it is now one of my top 5 disappointments in Dublin. I cannot say that the food is bad. It really isn’t. But there’s such a fuzz about it, that I thought it would be just espetacular, while it is just ok. Seriously, there is nothing special about it. Actually, being so “gourmet”, I would say it even has the downside of minimum food at maximum price.

Now what really annoyed me was the service: 1st - after entering the place I stood there for a couple of minutes waiting to be seated while the staff was just crossing from one side to the other, right in front of us without actually welcoming us. 2nd - I decided to take action and “welcome myself”, by going to the bar and asking if we should wait to be seated. They said yes and offered us to wait in the bar. Which I did and 10 mins later I was walked to a table that was already free when I first stepped into the place 3rd - Once seated, again 10 minutes until someone showed up to take our order. 4th - We were inclined to order a dessert after the dinner, but 15-20 mins after we finished out mains, nobody had showed up to see if we wanted anything else.

Bottom line, we ended up fed up and got out of there as quickly as we could.

I do have to say that the staff is lovely when they do show up. But it just looks like they didn’t care at all about serving us from the...

I hate to write this review but feel it was warranted based on our recent experience. We have been wanting to go legal eagle Sunday roast for a while based on different reviews. Finally we were in the area and stopped by. Overall it was a bad experience. The roast was €27 for beef which is a lot higher than most roasts in the area. Which I’d be fine paying if the roast was amazing but that wasn’t the case. The meat was extremely thin slices of beef and cooked to the point I could event cut the beef. Our table didn’t recent even a steak knife so it was very difficult to eat. Also, we didn’t receive any side gravy and there was barely on the plate. Also it was mainly big roasted potatoes that were fairly dry with a little bit of mash and stuffing. I really was hoping this would be a new Sunday roast spot but this was just a...
