⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I just had a great stay there last week. Well designed, nice, neat and perfectly clean room, shower, wash basin and wc. Loved the cosy fireplace on the TV.
🏨 The staff was very friendly, thanks to Zoë at reception and shout out to the two Gabriels working at the bar who made me a cortado and hot chocolate during storm Babet. ☕️
Feedback for hotel management:
• not everyone can sleep at 19-21° with windows that can barely open. Great from noise disturbance point of view, but (peri-)menopausal women might experience that differently 🥵 Please consider giving a wider thermostat range to choose from. 😉 (Yes you can put airco on to fall asleep, but then you wake up cold during the night)

🧳🚏 Add a section on the website as to how to reach your hotel by public transport:
💳 🚏 buy a 1-day (€8) or 3-day (€16) LEAP card to be able to take any Dublin Bus, Luas or DART to travel freely around.
You can buy it on the airport. (Nearest selling point from the hotel is SPAR on 63/64 O’Connell St. Upper, just around the corner from Henry St.)
With LEAP, Dublin bus line 16 brings you in approx 45 min. to O’Connell St., walk 300 m. from there into Abbey St. and you’re at the hotel. (You can also pay fare in coins on the bus.)
Install app ‘TFI Live’ to see departures, timetables and live bus tracking.
🚏🚌 Or you can take a Dublin Express couch bus (€10) line 782/784 from the airport for a smoother ride via Toll road (approx. 25 min.). Busstop at exit Terminal 1, or in zone 21 of Terminal 2. Buy a ticket line 782 for busstop Aston Quay, walk from there over Ha’Penny Bridge, 200 m. into Liffey St. Lower and you’re at the hotel. (Stop Eden Quay takes another unnecessary 30 min.) Buy a ticket line 784 for busstop Eden Quay, walk back towards Liffey St. Lower, 200 m. around the corner from there and you’re...
Read moreTop notch property. Charming decoration of velvets and whimsically printed wallpaper with Joyceian theme. Three fast elevators meant you rarely waited to go up or down. I had a small, quiet room facing a sun-lit ventilation shaft that made it feel quite private and restful. I could leave the curtains open and window cracked for airflow without being overlooked. I could imagine the rooms nearer to the front would have some noise, as the Jervis Luas stop is directly next to the hotel, but this just means easy transport around the city. Location is supreme, with one and a half blocks to Ha'Penny bridge and Temple Bar. While the hotel is positively surrounded with eateries and you could technically have breakfast close by, I prefer to come down to eat and then go back up and brush my teeth before starting my day so I paid for breakfast. It was a continental buffet of cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and yogurt, granola and cereals with three coffee machines so there was rarely a line. It was a simple way to start the day. The breakfast area is also the bar so you do sit at low, lounge tables and chairs which took some getting used to, but the low lighting was a chill vibe and I liked it. Shout out to the older Irish woman with the short blond bob who absolutely HUSTLED every morning refilling the breakfast and constantly bringing out fresh items. She worked so hard, and I told her that! The days she was off work were definitely different! Overall, would stay again and will...

Room is about the size of a cruise ship room, but without furniture, storage, and seating. So actually, it’s probably SMALLER than a cruise ship. There is NO closet, NO dresser, NOWHERE to put your clothes!! I’m on vacation, clearly I came with luggage…so what am I supposed to do with it all?!?
There is no top sheet on the bed. (Ewwwww!!! Makes my skin crawl!) Only a duvet. We stopped at the front desk after the first night because we thought they had just forgotten to leave washcloths and hand towels in our room. Nope! Not a mistake. They don’t provide them. (How are you supposed to get clean without a washcloth??) There is only hand wash and body wash provided. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion.
The cable cuts out randomly - sometimes for 30 seconds, sometimes for 3+ minutes - without rhyme or reason. There is no telephone in the room, so if you have a question you have to ride the elevator down to ask. Staff is fine. Not rude, but also not overly friendly.
Location seems convenient to almost everything. Steps away from the tram, short ride to the rail station, 5 min walk to Temple Bar area. Shopping and restaurants all around. However TWO separate Uber drivers warned us (unprompted) to be careful in the area, especially at night. When a guy from Northern Iraq says it isn’t safe…uhhhh…makes my hair stand up. Like? Why the heck did I ever book this room?! Total regret. Wish I had picked...
