For an I'm-in-a-hurry-and-had-to-eat-something meal, it wasn't bad at all. I would come here over McDonalds (or some other similar place) any day of the week. The thing is, I wouldn't ever deliberately come here to spend money on a meal to complement a joy-filled outing with friends or family. The interior of the restaurant is nothing to raise an eyebrow at, and the French potato soup was kind of bland. The chili is also pretty underwhelming, as the rice just gets all soggy and ruins the experience.

Best homemade soups ever. If you want a light lunch, this sis the best option. Went with the Thai yellow chicken with rice on my first visit. Went with Dahl Indian lentil in my 2nd visit. I arrived earlier this time and the place was empty and the nice lady was able to provide me with 3 samples. For heartier soup go with the beef chili or potato leek. For lighter give my 2 a try and the carrot chili and coconut as well. The place can get busy.

The soups and sandwiches are *legit*. Freshly made, with really nice bread. They're great value, as a sandwich with a small soup is actually a lot of food. The staff are all incredibly friendly too. This is not just one of the best soup and sandwich places I've had in Dublin, but one of the best places like this I've had anywhere.

Great idea – a teensy little hole in the wall cafe that hoofs soup out to the city's workers every lunch time. Every bowl is accompanied by something nice – like a decent bread or piece of fruit and some of the soups are hearty enough; they do pretty substantial curries with rice, for instance. Its a bit of a disappointment, despite the soups always sounding interesting, that they're often a touch on...
