A shame that a "nice" place with nice music have this disrespectful and rude people working there. Yesterday night we had the worst experience ever. First of all we were inside and this "person" pushed me badly and we asked him for and explanation, the answer was "shut up if you don't want me to "kick" you away". After that, we understood that this is not the kind of people you can have a conversation with so we just continued the party. When we were leaving we wanted to take a picture of him to be able to place a formal complain as we asked him for his license number and name and he wouldn't give us (neither his "colleagues", two other gorillas who were there as well, his friends I guess) As an answer he gave us this "nice" pictures showing us his finger (I am attaching the pictures here but not sure if Google will allow them... also in Facebook and Tripadvisor but the same). Again, I can not understand why anyone would hire this kind of people with no brain at all, who only wants to fight and cause trouble instead of the opposite (what is guess is supposed to be his real job). We will never go again and of course we will place a formal complaint as we also have a video from when we were leaving and he and his friends were insulting us. I hope the management take this comments seriously as I see we are not the only ones with the same experience.

Went there on a Monday for their “That’s It!” Open Mic. The sound man there, Russ, was great at what he did and managed the sounds very well for the musicians. Met a super talented college kid there who performed 4 songs using 4 different instruments that his father made! Also saw some other talented singer-songwriters. Every performer was very attentive when someone else is performing, which was very nice and supportive. There was a table of about 8 customers (who looked like they were in college?) besides us though who constantly screamed and laughed during the show. But fortunately they left around 11:15pm. Had a lovely time meeting fellow musicians in this chilled setting (there were about 10 people or so? there in the open mic area). Their margarita pizza was nice but I couldn’t finish it.

WOW, what a place. Great music and they have a chess day every second Sunday. The staff are so interactive and friendly. We stayed for a comedy night which is a regular thing they have. It’s very cosy down in the basement with limited seating. The comedian was brilliant. A very reasonable price of 15 euro for nearly 2 hours. Well worth checking out ! The drink selection is vast and good quality draft. I would definitely visit again

A lovely bar with very sound staff and a generally jovial atmosphere.

Though unfortunately I cannot really recommend it, due to what I see as a certain amount of negligence from management.

In November 2021, a few friends and I were enjoying a few pints. Lit candles had been placed above the seating, and wax at dripped down onto my friends coat, effectively wrecking it. The staff member was very helpful, he took her number and assured her that the pub would cover the cost of cleaning - though no such reimbursements have materialised.

There was no argument or confrontation, the staff member was very apologetic and recognised my friends frustration. We really appreciated this, and left happy.

Leaving aside the obvious health and safety risk of having hot wax dripping onto where people are sitting - this should never have happened in the first place, If some common sense H&S measures were taken - management’s lack of care for the damage of a customers property was quite disappointing.

Lovely staff, a great atmosphere, but a...
