White Rabbit is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Dublin's city centre, offering an authentic taste of Korean street food, cooked to perfection by chefs right before your eyes. The restaurant's small size adds to its charming ambience, and the friendly and attentive staff ensures that every guest feels welcome.
The highlight of White Rabbit's menu is undoubtedly the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC). While Nando's is a popular choice for chicken lovers, White Rabbit's KFC is a clear winner here. Unlike Nando's often overcooked and dry chicken, White Rabbit's KFC is cooked to perfection, resulting in juicy and flavorful bites that will pamper your taste buds. The crispy batter is perfectly complemented by the tender chicken, making for a truly irresistible dish.
Another highlight is the corndogs, which are simply irresistible. The batter is perfectly cooked, and the sausage inside is juicy and flavorful. A corndog filled with cheese will also receive a lot of praise from me, I enjoyed every bite of it. The corndog is served with a sauce that adds a touch of sweetness and tanginess to the perfect bite.
While the small space might be a drawback, it adds to the charming ambience of the restaurant. If White Rabbit expanded its premises, it would certainly attract even more customers eager to enjoy its culinary creations. However, don't let the size deter you from trying this hidden gem. White Rabbit is a must-visit for any Korean food enthusiast or anyone seeking a taste of authentic Korean street food in the heart of Dublin.
Will I visit this place...
Read moreFirst thing first, am Indian and was there with an Indian friend, so taste and flavour expectations were lot different and it didn't stand at that level.
We ordered KFC Half and Half and it was seriously bland. The sauce flavoured one was too sweet and don't get the logic of how it's liked by so many. Again, it might that I was expecting it be bit more tasteful than usual. The chicken cup bap was again, confusing to me, not good in any way and I couldn't understand what is so amazing that people find in it as per other reviews.
Now either in India, most asian dishes are not genuinely Korean or Chinese or such and we make them in a more Indo Chinese or Indo Korean style and we are used to it. And what they make here is how the authentic Korean actually tastes like. So I might be wrong here.
My only other conclusion is, if you are from India, Mexico or Africa even, where spices and flavour is a big thing, you guys might feel the food here is kinda bland and not worth it. The amount and portion are quite a lot, I'll give them that but taste wise not of the same standard. Definitely not a place to go again for me, but might be for others 🤗.

Read moreAs many have already said about this place it is definitely a hidden gem hidden in the Heart of Capel St. Couldn't wait to try out this place as it's walk in only- (also does take away delivery if you live nearby) and due to its popularity is almost always full! Be patient and wait for a seat as it's worth the wait, you order from the till and food is served to your table. The menu is varied and fairly and nicely priced for Dublin City standards! as pictured here I got the cheese and sausage corn dog with honey mustard and a pork belly Cupbap, drinks are refreshment standard only no alcohol served. In regards to the food now corn dogs aren't my thing but I had to try them here- plenty of batter and crispness, but inside was a little lacking in regards to fullness of the sausage - but this is coming from someone who is used to eating Irish standard Clonakilty sausage - however when it lacked in substance made up for on taste! As for the pork belly Cupbap -i will be going back for this dish and am currently salivating thinking of it alone- bursting with taste! Highly recommend -no obvious access to toilet facilities observed but I was very focused on the food!...
