Came in today and got a jam donut and a cheese pastry. There was a large variety of sweet and savoury baked goods all of which looked yummy! The pastries and coffee were given on paper plates/in paper cups even though we were dining in. I think ceramic plates would have added to the overall experience, but I’m aware that the shop did just open recently so maybe they’re waiting on a delivery! There was very little seat in options also, a group of ladies came in and were giving us dirty looks because they had nowhere to sit even though we still had over half a pastry left and a full cup of coffee. This prompted us to leave earlier than we would have liked. More seating would definitely be beneficial as I can see the cafe becoming popular and busy due to the yummy treats and...

I have pictures of a cake that made it safe all the way from Galway, IRL to the Midwest in the United States. I carried it through a really MESSED up travel day and actually even dropped it 😭 now to every bit of my shock it was still... PERFECTION (now of course I cannot find the photos on my camera roll BUT I will and I will post them 🙏🤦‍♀️🙇‍♀️) Also, I cannot for the life of me remember the ladies name at the counter 🫣😞 BUT she was an absolute GEM 🙌. I also had the pleasure of enjoying their croissants 🤌 and the strawberry, something muffin and I will FOREVER CRAVE another 🤗❤️🤩🥰 I give outta of 10.........

The coffee and pastries I've had, along with the free samples have all been excellent. It is a high street pastry shop so don't be alarmed at the prices. Having said that, the quality is second to none and anything I've bought and taken home or given as a gift has been devoured. The staff are well presented, friendly and knowledgeable about their wares, so if your unsure 🤔, ask! Not really a place to sit and relax because of its size , (but sometimes it's quiet and you'll be at peace with your slice of heaven and a good coffee)nevertheless it's definitely worth a visit even to look at the displays of...

Don't miss a trip to this fantastic coffee shop when in Galway. Coffee and fresh food were scrumptious! The Bakebox is outside the shopping mall, service is extremely good, the atmosphere relaxed and nostalgic. A fresh bakery to sit in or take away with a great variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, and all sorts of cake. Highly recommend a visit here, nothing like this coffee experience. I look forward to dropping in when I am in Galway - don't miss out!

This bakery is a treasure trove of fresh baked goodness! Try not to drool on the counter while you are picking what you want. Everything from sweet to savory baked goods, and gourmet coffees too! You know you are at the right place when you see them stunning mural of a baker in black and white on the building! The only downside was not much seating. This is such a cool bakery, you almost want to sit and just take it in.
