Brownes Bar — Restaurant in Killarney Municipal District

One star bar in a four star hotel. We tried Brownes on our first night at Great Southern. The atmosphere seemed fantastic. We waited ten minutes to order dinner and drinks. Both came in an acceptable amount of time and the food was great. That was the last time anyone came to check on us. We wanted another drink after we finished our meal (thirty minutes later), but no one came to check on us. Fifteen minutes later, we had to hunt someone down to pay our bill (never a second drink). Three nights later, we decided to give Brownes another try on our last night in Killarney. We were so delighted that we decided to start our night in Browns, as it was so warm and welcoming and a fabulous start to the night. We enjoyed some delicious drinks in the lovely, cosy atmosphere of the bar and we received exceptional service and kindness from Mike Cronin, who went above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome! Absolutely wonderful experience here while staying in Killarney. Our evening meal was outstanding, and the breakfast both mornings was likewise. The service however, was the best part.
