The Horse and Hound Bar — Restaurant in Limerick

Went in to The Horse and Hound Bar for breakfast a few days ago. It was quiet at the time - around 9am. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Service was very quick and efficient. Very pleasant experience and would definitely return. The lady was really nice and has great rapport with the customers, several who are obviously returning customers. The food was delicious. I asked for no mushrooms and this was seen to. Would have liked to been given something extra as replacement but it was fine. Only disappointment was that fried potatoes were listed as an item on my breakfast but i did not receive any. Price was pretty standard and is good value for money with plenty of toast and brown bread given along with enough butter and marmalade and strawberry jam. Overall, a 9.5 out of 10...

A shame today as our family went here after a funeral for some food and drinks, the server James was the most ignorant man my family have ever came across. We are locals and tend to go here regularly and loved the place as a family establishment, but we will no longer see this as an family establishment and will make sure the local community are aware if the way we were treated by James, we also had two kids with us one of them with autism and this man thought it was ok to treat us this way, we are very upset about this and hope no other family have to put up with this from a man that thinks he is above his customers. Alsoy 72 year old grandfather was also treated with complete disrespect by this man as he was grieving while...

Beautiful food and warm welcoming staff. What more can you say except customers are as friendly as the staff . You will never feel alone in this establishment. Food is just gorgeous and I have to say there is no big long wait! Well done one and all... oh just one grip stop wrapping the knives and forks so tight with napkins you tear it whilst trying to opening them. If you want to save said establishment money put on side of plate and let the customers pick them selves I have seen many an elderly person struggling with this. Knocking one mark for this. An over enthusiastic staff member. Ur wrapping them far too tight. Other wise five stars...
