IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP AVOID THIS HOTEL.

When you book a hotel room you expect to be able to sleep. Unfortunately, for this hotel that isn't possible.

The hotel owns a pub next door that plays live music till 1.30am - the music is so loud, you might as well be in the pub with the band.

According to the opening hours this pub is supposed to shut at 11pm. 11pm came and went - music was still playing! I rang reception who said that the pub shut at Midnight, and that the advertised times on the website were wrong. Midnight came and went and if anything the noise got louder. It wasn't till gone 1.30am that the music stopped. Which you think would be a relief but then came the drunks screaming outside and people running up and down the hotel corridors.

Having read other reviews I know the management will respond saying that they're a city centre venue, they warned me of the noise issue and that the pub doesn't play outside of hours.

I live and work in London, I am used to city noise. But this isn't city noise, this is a pub owned and adjoined to the hotel. You know people book rooms to sleep?

You warned me of the noise in a message AFTER I booked the hotel - they sent this "Also because of our central location there will be loud noise/music from pubs/nightclubs in the area". I expect it to be busy, loud etc but not to this obnoxious level.

The pub did play music outside of hours, and I have recordings to prove it.

It's such a shame, as the rooms themselves are lovely and the location is...

This place is clean, although grout around shower needs some attention. The beds were comfortable. While professional, the morning front desk receptionist explained that my booking confirmation told me that because my check in time ( of my choosing) between 9-10 was selected, booking did mention no parking other than street side would be available and I would need to move my car by 9 am or a ticket/towing may occur. Of course she did not show me this on the computer and my booking confirmation of course mentions this not. I simply recommended that they please tell travelers about the parking situation, that the lots close at 8pm upon any reservation. She agreed but ya know, there wasn't a real understanding and she reminded me I wasn't old Well if you are over 35, this is a hostel and while that is fine, just know it is a hostel, labeled otherwise but it has a hostel and it is advertised differently. Overall my stay was clean and please t but stressful knowing I must get up and move my rental car. Beautiful city though and my 21 year old son, who is perfect age for this place said the breakfast was good. I just waited in the car because I don't want to pay for parking even discounted at this point. Expensive also for what you get, an expensive boutique hostel for young adults. I know man hostels have age limits, or opposite do cater to adults. This was...

-Not customer-oriented hotel manager. I have requested a check-in time for 3:00-4:00 in the morning due to late arrival time, I also messaged the hotel to confirm that this time is available for check-in, as usual check-in time is from 14:00. The date and time was clearly mentioned on request as well as confirmation from the staff was given that they have no problem with check-in time change request. However, when I have arrived they declined my check-in as hotel was fully booked out and I appeared in unknown city on the street in cold November night. The receptionist refused to call different hotel to help me to find a place for one night. In few days when I came to speak with a manager explaining my situation, the response was shocking. He explained me that this confusion happened because stuff mixed up the dates and said he cannot do anything for me in this situation. He was not listening that I have written confirmation and declined any conpensation. I have never met such ignorant management response during my stays across EU countries that don't care about hotel's reputation and problems caused by hotel's stuff, and I am very dissapointed about my stay.

-Noisy area. Yes, they do send you a message about noise from the street and pub, but only after you confirm your booking. Be prepared to not sleep before 23:59.

-Poor choice...

The hotel is very well located, the staff are very pleasant and the breakfast is copious. Although it was stated that “although some noise might be experienced as we are located centrally in the city” the noise was very very lound . Music until 2am even with the windows closed it was not possible to sleep. And to ventilate (as it's hot under the roof and there's no air-conditioning) even less possible to sleep due to the extremely loud music. For the exorbitant price, it's a shame.

Posizione: ottima, è in pieno centro, a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e vicina a ristoranti, negozi, e l'imperdibile Milk Market. Peccato, peccato davvero.

I love my stay in this hotel, I feel comfortable as it is clean have the essentials that a person needs, like the condiments is easy accessible and it’s free, coffee, tea and a selection of body wash as well, even if it’s next to a music venue it not so bad as they play some good music, but if it’s quiet you looking for maybe not book on this place on a weekend, this hotel is perfect for party goers 😊👊🏾❤️
