Food was fantastic!! Reason for the lower rating is my partner has a peanut allergy. We are always careful to review allergins on the menu but as there were none. She ordered the Char Siu Pork and upon eating some noticed she was having an allergic reaction. I then asked the chef if any peanut oil or anything peanut related is used when cooking the item, the chef said there wasn't. When paying I asked the server again the same question, got the same answer, nothing peanut related used preparing the dish. But when we were about to leave the same server stopped us and advised us that peanut is used in the marinating process. The staff were perfectly pleasant and apologetic but my advice is to at least label this...

I had high expectations after reading the reviews, but this was truly disappointing! We ordered green curry, Singapore noodles, yaki soba, gyoza, spring rolls, and prawns, and honestly, nothing was fresh.

❌ Frozen Starters – The gyoza and spring rolls tasted like they came straight from the freezer. Soba has the best asian food I've ever had! This is what real asian food should taste like! I've never had a bad meal there. The decor is plain and simple, but the colour of the food more than makes up for it. Great portions and authentic asian soft drinks to choose from! My favourite dish there is the beef tenderloin with potato cubes in a honey and black pepper sauce, I would highly recommend it!!
