A Warm Welcome at The Red Kettle CafĂ© – Wexford’s Hidden Gem Stopped into The Red Kettle CafĂ© while visiting Wexford Library for family research across the street. The place has a lovely, cozy charm—exactly what you’d hope for in a small Irish cafĂ©. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. I had the lasagne special, which came with a fresh side salad and garlic bread—comfort food done right. My mom had a salad. To top it off, they brought out a proper pot of tea, complete with a cheerful red tea cosy (not a red teapot, as the name might suggest!). It’s those little touches that make a difference. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the food feels homemade and hearty. Definitely a great stop if you’re in town and want something satisfying without any fuss.

I love have lunch in the red kettle when I back to Wexford every time . Usually I ordered Beef lasagna and Latte and my husband ordered Caesar salad without red stuff as he has allergic of red food such as red pepper, tomato etc. those food are lovely especially I love their latte, I can say it’s the best latte I drink in my life 😋😋😋the staffs they both very nice and service are very good, the boss couple they are very lovely and very honest to every customer. I’m highly recommend have me in here when you visit in Wexford town đŸ‘đŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒ5⭐+++

We visited The Red Kettle, Wexford yesterday when looking for somewhere in the town for lunch, with our two children after seeing their good reviews online. It was such a nice cosy spot to stop off. I had the lasagne special, served with salad and garlic bread which was delicious! My favourite part.. the big red pot of tea! The kids loved the chocolate pancakes and are already planning our next visit, as they want to try the pizza and I want to try the halloumi and walnut salad!

I am disappointed I've helled off typing this because of what I previously said about this restraunt

I honestly don't know where to start this is a family run business you can see that through and through and when covid 19 was raging across Wexford they were hit hard but they came back stronger and better in my opinion but in recent months in my opinion things have detiorated rapidly with this business I am shocked from what I consider a fabulous restraunt to somewhere I won't even walk by nowadays

The staff and in particular the owner have got incredibly ignorant when asking them for something so simple as a takeaway drink or making a sandwich and the bathrooms are disgusting the way I was treated when trying to pay for something i was stunned I was told try and ring up instead of wasting our time and then the prices have soared which I understand but from somewhere that used to be affordable and a nice place to go and eat to being a place I avoid .

Things have to change if I would ever go back it is...

My husband and i are in our 60s. We are recently moved to Wexford from South Africa. We love this place for a number of reasons, in no particluar order: It has that indescribable vibe of the places we hung out as students. Interesting notices on the board, a bit shabby, rather ecclectic. This is something you cant buy. You have it or you dont. RK has it Its the nearest place to the library where we spend a lot of time It has fresh delicious food and a small but great selection of light meals. I havent tried the fruit scones because my physio says i must lose weight but they look fabulous. It serves wine by the glass The prices...
