I am disappointed I've helled off typing this because of what I previously said about this restraunt
I honestly don't know where to start this is a family run business you can see that through and through and when covid 19 was raging across Wexford they were hit hard but they came back stronger and better in my opinion but in recent months in my opinion things have detiorated rapidly with this business I am shocked from what I consider a fabulous restraunt to somewhere I won't even walk by nowadays
The staff and in particular the owner have got incredibly ignorant when asking them for something so simple as a takeaway drink or making a sandwich and the bathrooms are disgusting the way I was treated when trying to pay for something i was stunned I was told try and ring up instead of wasting our time and then the prices have soared which I understand but from somewhere that used to be affordable and a nice place to go and eat to being a place I avoid .
Things have to change if I would ever go back it is...

Stopped into The Red Kettle CafĂ© while visiting Wexford Library for family research across the street. The place has a lovely, cozy charmâexactly what youâd hope for in a small Irish cafĂ©. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
I had the lasagne special, which came with a fresh side salad and garlic breadâcomfort food done right. My mom had a salad. To top it off, they brought out a proper pot of tea, complete with a cheerful red tea cosy (not a red teapot, as the name might suggest!). Itâs those little touches that make a difference.
The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the food feels homemade and hearty. Definitely a great stop if youâre in town and want something satisfying...

We love this place for a number of reasons, in no particluar order: It has that indescribable vibe of the places we hung out as students. Interesting notices on the board, a bit shabby, rather ecclectic. This is something you cant buy. You have it or you dont. RK has it Its the nearest place to the library where we spend a lot of time It has fresh delicious food and a small but great selection of light meals.
