We were only in this area for 2 days an we ate here both nights. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff make you feel well taken care of. Again the food is absolutely delicious. We drove almost half of Ireland and this is by far our favorite place. I would come back here. I’d fly 9 hours back for the risotto. I do think they could redo the front of their building to accommodate at least another table or two. You can search parking lot an park near the church an walk here. It’s about 1 min walk. They have a kids menu but our kid chose to order a bowl of mussels and ate that for his dinner. He’s literally never done that an only ever had tried them once in France. He said they were delicious. Dessert is also mouth watering. I had the pavlova simply because I had never tried it an heard it on the TV show Bluey. It’s dangerously good.

Our work culture club of six recently dined at La Piazza in Bray, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or colleagues. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We started with chicken wings and salad—both fresh and well-seasoned. For mains, we tried a variety of dishes, including wood-fired pizzas and pasta. Every dish was flavorful, made with high-quality ingredients, and served in generous portions. The wine selection was impressive, and the staff was helpful in recommending pairings. The ambiance was lively yet cozy, allowing us to enjoy great conversations. Overall, La Piazza offers delicious, authentic Italian food at reasonable prices with excellent service. We will definitely be back.

We booked our table for 6:30PM (Friday night). By the time we were looking to have dessert, we were informed that we had to vacate the table as there was another booking at 8pm. This was not communicated at the time of booking or when we were seated, so it came as a bit of an unpleasant surprise. From that point, we felt we were rushed to finish up and leave. It was a case of pay the bill and go away. This spoiled our experience and we ended up having to go somewhere else to finish off our evening. We were offered shots of Sambuca, I assumed this was a form of peace offering and only half of the group took up the offer. Up until the point of being told to leave, the food was lovely, the staff were attentive and friendly. However, the finish to the evening is what sticks in your mind.

This review is coming from someone who has been working in hospitality for over 10 years. I rarely ever make a fuss or complain at restaurants.

I hope the management at La Piazza read this review and genuinely make sure no one else is spoken to the way myself and my friend were tonight.

We ordered two bottles of beer with our meal but instead were given two pints. Obviously there was a miscommunication, but it wasn't a big deal. I told the waitress that we had actually ordered two bottles, not pints and that I was sorry for any inconvenience.

When she returned back to our table, she took away the pints and said 'just so you know you didn't order bottles, but whatever who cares'. She went back behind the bar and started to make fun of us to the chefs who began jeering at us with the two pints and saying thank you to my friend.

Regardless whether or not this mix up was the fault of me and my friend, you just never speak that way to a customer. I was extremely polite in the situation and apologised for the misunderstanding.

However, I will say we 100% very clearly did ask for bottles and not pints just FYI. We were made to feel so uncomfortable for the rest of the evening over this tiny error. We will not be coming back again.

The second waitress on shift deserves some recognition - she was very kind and I think she tried to compensate for the bad behaviour by the...

Had a meal for the first time here last weekend. Was happy to get a table as it was very busy. We had brie and bruchetta to start both were really lovely. Disappointed there was no ribeye steak available so we settled for sirloin. We asked for fries to be substituted for mash and garlic cheese potatoes. The garlic cheese potatoes cost more than fries on the menu so was happy to pay the difference. However, when steaks came out there was no sign of garlic cheese potatoes or the side of veg we ordered. Sat looking at my steak getting cold while the server tried to give me fries twice. Eventually the potatoes arrived along with the side of veg. garlic cheese potatoes were really nice but the mash was very bland and my steak was quite fatty, my partners steak was fine. Although both were cooked perfectly. came to the bill and was charged the full price for garlic cheese potatoes. Its a couple of euro more than the fries on the menu which would have been fine to pay the difference so was quite surprised especially considering that there appeared to be a mix up with our order and all the food did not arrive together. Used the bathroom before we left and the large crack in the toilet seat pinched my skin I still have a bruise! No handtowels available and bin overflowing. Pleasant restaurant with above average food for the most part however I left feeling slightly...

This restaurant is a amazing. Found it just by browsing around Bray to find a nice Italian place. What a gem. The staff were so friendly. The lady who was waiting our table was very friendly and informative. The food is absolutely delicious. So tasty. I got a bruschetta and I expected it to be just a ciabatta as usually it. But no, they actually made some bread with the pizza dough in the hot oven. It was so so delicious! My friend got chicken wings and they were some of the best I’ve tried. We both got pasta dishes and it was delicious too. Good portion and it was so tasty. Oh I had some chips also and they were proper potatoes chopped and friend. Like you make at home. Not frozen ones. They make their own dips too and the blue cheese dip was so yum! Also it was perfectly cooked. We had 3 courses and I couldn’t recommend more this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back again and try more items from the menu. Thanks for providing such a good...
