Russell's Saloon — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Dundalk

Incredibly patronizing one member of staff (older short haired blonde woman who appeared to be working there for a long time) , for some reason she was rude and obnoxious when ordering 7 drinks at once. She didnt want to be there. Pity as the other staff are really helpful and the bar itself has been upgraded to one of the best bar facilities in Dundalk. Guinness was just OK, but the cocktails and Gin emporium are outstanding. Beer Garden is huge and one of the best around. They need to ditch that particular member of staff who was rude to a number of people. (One person looked horrified at her ignorance and then the barmaid in question did a big patronising face at him and said ‘Smile!’ and the man looking puzzled was then told ‘Ah is it because your paying?!’) Gets my goat that kinda nonsense self righteousness. Bit pricey for drinks and a bit cramped in places very elbow to elbow in the place if Ur a big bloke or with a group it's easy to take 20mins just getting to the bar but they have a huge selection of drinks. The cocktail bar stands out the most the barmen are excellent and really know what they are doing very professional and engaging. Made some amazing cocktails and suggested some fantastic alternatives. The bar itself has won more awards than any other bar in Dundalk. As soo. As you walk in you will see the awards which us which as I say it is cramped due to its popularity. Smoking area is huge and loads of places to sit but fulls up very quickly. Very nice and cozy pub, with super nice and helpful staff. Nice looking and tasty cocktails and music according to pubs interior. Decent beergarden, with non smoking area under the heaters and separated smoking area(non heated). We had a proper fun even though it was half empty(I guess it is still because of pandemic restrictions).
