360 Cookhouse — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Dungarvan — Lismore

We had a fabulous experience at this restaurant a few days ago. (May 2025) My husband and I were looking for a dog-friendly place to have lunch and I had read some positive reviews ahead of time. We had no reservation but had no problem getting a table and we received the warmest of welcomes with our golden retriever. I assumed that we would be sitting outside but we were shown to a gorgeous covered outdoor area through the restaurant. It was really comfortable and warm with a great atmosphere. The staff were exceptional and very attentive and provided us with a water bowl for the dog straight away. We ordered some tapas items from the menu- calamari, chicken wings, pork belly taco and patatas bravas which were all delicious. I felt it was reasonably priced for the quality of the food and I would definitely recommend 360 cookhouse without hesitation. I've had mixed experiences here depending on whether I'm in a group, in a couple or on my own. The menu caters primarily to meat eaters. I'm not a vegetarian but I like variety. The vegetarian tapas are good but pricey and don't fill you. The atmosphere is lively in certain parts and at certain times, and people can bring their dogs in. The staff are generally enthusiastic which is lovely and the decor in certain parts is very cool and in other parts very bland. Going there on your own is a uniquely isolating experience. A group of 3 at a table beside me was asked what they would like to be brought from the salad bar. I was pointed in the direction of the salad bar and advised to take a plate. I wasn't approached at all to ask how my food was. It's a little too conveyer belt for me and bookings are for slots, not for whenever you have finished eating. So you get the sense of being rushed. This was my third visit so now is the time to review. Reason for this approach is to be truly able to evaluate consistency. Food quality and quantity, A+. Atmosphere, excellent. Service, very good but could be improved upon a little. I say this because there was a significant delay between the time we finished our main course and were approached by staff to see if we wanted desert or drinks. In fact we needed to get the attention of a passing staff member. There is a fine line between harassing customers and being attentive to their needs. I am certain this fine establishment will sort that issue. The fish and chips are absolutely super. My partner had a vegetarian pasta dish and was extremely pleased. Desert menu is fantastic.
