Awful food- completely flavorless, lacking even basic ingredients like salt and masala—the owner’s attitude was even worse. When we politely conveyed our disappointment, he refused to accept any feedback and acted like there was nothing wrong. The food was nowhere near the standard of real Indian cuisine, but instead of acknowledging or addressing the issue, the owner was defensive and dismissive. This place is not only a disgrace to Indian food but also clearly has no interest in improving. Avoid at all costs! Lovely Indian restaurant The owner is very friendly and very accommodating. He noticed my daughter hadn't taken a fancy to the bhaji meal he replaced it with something else, no extra charge. The waitress is also very friendly and has a great sense of humour. The food is excellent and I love that they serve complimentary poppadoms with four sauces at the start while you wait for the courses to arrive. My wife and I usually order the set dinner A which is excellent value for all the food they give you. Also very accommodating of them is that you may replace one meal on the menu with something else. I have been a lover of Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern food for, dare I say 50 years, starting in London, on to Eastern Tandoori in Dublin and love cooking it as I did for my family and some friends. Tikka Masala Dungarvan is the best food, excellent service by friendly professional staff and a very gracious and appreciative owner.
