Pet hostile. Refused entry to 4 people with a puppy regardless of the bad weather. No polite words, just "you can't enter with a dog" in response to my "hello".

UPD: the owner answered that "this is the Law". From what I've checked, there is no any law in Ireland prohibiting dogs from accessing restaurants. Which is confirmed by multiple dog-friendly cafes and restaurants all around the country.

I have been to Arthur’s many times and food has always been very nice BUT unfortunately yesterday 8/9/23 I was in the cafe with my one year old child, it was quiet a hot day and she was getting upset, as I was trying to eat my food quickly and leave and the waiter, an older lady not the two young lovely girls that also work there, she kept looking in my direction, making faces and shaking her head at me as if to say it was a problem that my child was upset. I payed and left , my food and coffee still not finished, Iv never ever felt so uncomfortable like that in a place, it was loud in there anyway and I could see that we were not disturbing anyone else, this lady just seemed to have a problem. Very rude, I would never ever make someone feel like that especially a paying customer. I’m so disgusted that I was treated like this I won’t ever step foot inside Arthur’s again! I hope anyone else with young children attending this place don’t get treated the same as me! Not kid...
