Rob & Steve's Confectioners — Restaurant in Waterford

I ordered my wedding cake from Rob & Steve’s and couldn’t recommend them more! I wanted a simple two tier vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, with the plan to have my florist provide flowers to decorate it. I was ordering from abroad (destination wedding) so communicated mostly via email, and even so the staff were so helpful walking me through the sizing and filling options, and accommodating when I needed the cake for a Sunday wedding (they’re closed Sundays) but they were able to deliver it the Saturday afternoon the day before (then my friend added the florals on Sunday, for which Rob and Steve’s also provided guidance to share with my friend - amazing!). Went for consultation today about a baby shower cake. Wanted a pink heart cake with piping. Was very disappointed when they told me they couldn’t do piping…I think that’s like the basics of cake decorating and also couldn’t do pink unless I had a strawberry flavoured cake…you could go to Aldi and get pink food dye. My son bought me a gluten free cake today. He ordered it during the week as a surprise for Mother's Day as is needed with gluten free bits, it looked nice but was extremely disappointing.
