Visited during daylight and it's like entering a cave at first. An amazingly atmospheric pub with a dark and heavy interior which at first sight could put you off but give it a chance. This is a pub where you can get away from it all in quite seclusion, unless there's live music of course which they seem to do regularly but I did not witness. It's like entering a time warp but in a positive way. No distractions here just good company and good staff by the looks of it. Certainly not a family pub though, one for the grown ups. Go experience and enjoy, not too many pubs like this around anymore.
