Popped into today for soup. Was not disappointed. Soup wonderful and served with two slices of brown bread. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Revisited again today. Again very happy with our soup. Great place eat in. Still a lovely place to eat. Always very busy. Staff very pleasant and food good. Another visit today had the soup as usual which was scummy served with fresh brown or white sourdough bread. Lovely pleasant staff. Popped in again today had a delicious bowl of soup wirg bread. As usual served my friendly staff Great place to visit. Update still call in weekly for our usual soup which is always lovely. We had a family celebration earlier in the year and ordered our food from the Granary. Ordered our food and collected. Everything was packaged for transport. Went here recently for breakfast and had bad experience. We had just ordered our breakfast and saw the waitress preparing someone else's order. The waitress was pressing down sausages on a blaa as hard as she could with no gloves and she also had long painted nails. We asked her why she wasn't wearing gloves when handling someones food. She replied I will wear them if you want me to. We said it wasn't our food and that she should be wearing gloves regardless. She told us she had washed her hands earlier, so does this make it ok, I don't think so. There seems to be a lack of training and hygiene standards which clearly need to be addressed.
