Exploring around and came across Sea Dolphin. Nice menu, good-sized crowd, outdoor seating, and music, so we got a table. For starters, we enjoyed the panko fried calamari with cauliflower and scallops & shrimp skewers with a Roquefort sauce. A creative, robust flavored sauce that is so well balanced, I had to use the calamari to get every drop! A home run dish in so many ways. Definitely try it if you love Roquefort ❤️ Sea bass over mushroom risotto was fresh and well prepared. But the star of the meal was 800 kg of aged prime rib on the bone. High-quality meat. AT SEA DOLPHIN. Who knew? The chop was ordered very rare and cooked perfectly. The serving board and knife are left for you to carve or not. Your choice (as it should be). As good as any 5 star steak house. The meal was a surprise and enjoyed. Clean bathroom facility and some cute cats hanging around.

This restaurant was very recommended by our friends - local citizens of Jerusalem and they were super right - the place is excellent!! There are tables outside the restaurant and you are sitting in pedestrian only street with a few restaurants in a raw. The food is delicious. We had a plate of mixed fishes and another one of shrimps with calamari - both are super fresh, well dressed and very tasty. The starters with a bread are great too. For the desert we selected the Shila (see the picture in a review) that was absolutely delicious. The service was very good and fast. 5 stars big time! Loved and enjoyed it very much. Thank you Sea Dolphin!

Excellent seafood restaurant. Clientele on the upscale touristy side. The food is good but it’s a semi-splurge with our meal with wine coming to over 400 NIS or about $125. Don’t turn down the “bread and salad” free starter; the bread is traditional Israeli and barely leavened while the salads include hummus and babaganoush along with plates of tabouleh, spiced cauliflower and picked carrots. I had the grilled calamari and shrimp while my wife had the three fish platter. The quality and freshness were excellent. The wine is all Israeli. Our Pelter Sauvignon Blanc was dry and accompanied the food well, though unremarkable.

The place were recommended by the hotel stuff (not kosher, open on Saturday), and when we came there, we discovered that we've already been here three years ago - just didn't remember the name. You have a business lunch also at Friday and there's a lot of food in it for a little money. We ate there also the day after and really enjoyed our fish and meat choices, but not a pasta - it was plain. Cream Brulee and cappuccino were very good! Friday evening we passed near the place and saw that it was very overcrowded and there wasn't 2 meters between the tables, even outside. So, sadly, we went to another place.

We ordered the seafood platter and the mixed fish fillets. We enjoyed our food until my sister choked on a fish bone. She had to go to the hospital to get it out. It costed her two thousand shekels. I understand if we ordered a whole fish but we ordered mixed fish fillets. There were no apologies and one of the server even joked about it! I was absolutely disappointed by this restaurant. It was supposed to be one of the better restaurant that needs reservation. It needs better food preparation. I am posting this to warn you if you eat here.

I see the high reviews (which is why we decided to come) but have taste buds around here not experienced flavorful food?! We both found it very bland and overpriced. So many meats, so much potential for flavor, but sadly none to be found. And 26 ils for a bottle of water?! I think these restaurants need to get off their high horse and come back to reality. The best food item was the bread. That's it. Our server was pleasant though and fairly attentive, we'll give them that.
