Casablanca ( nuova gestione ) — Restaurant in Alghero

I have been coming to Alghero for more than 30 years and Casablanca was always on the list of restaurants to revisit. Having been closed last year we returned to be disappointed by menu choices (not to do with there being no pizza). We ordered starter which took ages to arrive despite us being the only people there. It was not what we ordered. Waiter was clearly awkward and not able to manage that saying he would speak with manager. The manager eventually came over to say it was an error or the kitchen staff. We have travelled throughout Italy for the last month and this was, by far, the worst meal and service we have had. I asked about gluten free pasta, and the waiter turned away from me while responding in the negative. He did not offer any alternatives nor did he even attempt to acknowledge my food allergy. I went there with 2 friends and we decided to order 2 pizzas to share together since we were not so hungry. We ordered the season specialties but they didn't have some of the ingredients, so we chosen other options.
