First things first, right after we entered the owner made us feel comfortable to the extend. He perfectly explained every single dish in the menu, he ever gave us a napkin (yes, napkin) with all the menu written in our language (we’re Polish). We’ve even got caught in the game to help him correct some words there which to be fair made the atmosphere even more cosy. House wine was very cheap and surprisingly good for its price. I’d take couple bottles home myself if I could for real.
Let’s get to the most important thing - food. Every each of the courses we’ve had was on point - delicious.
We’ve had favette for side dish - it reminded us about childhood snack but with different twist, very nice.
Pasta with boar and ravioli - delicious. I’d say you can leave your fake teeth at home because everything literally melts in your mouth.
Last but not least - deserts. We’ve had chocolate mousse and seadas and the second one deserves a moment here. Oranges on the plate are not just decoration, everything works perfect as a delicious mix.
We felt very welcomed here and the service is extraordinary. Strongly recommend this place to everyone...
Read moreThis is a great place and seems like a hidden gem in the town! When we arrived, it was clearly a busy night for the staff, yet they welcomed us in a friendly manner and gave an accurate estimate of when to expect a table, circa 10 min., which we spent studying the menu. Again, even though it was busy, the owner and the waiter were patient and friendly to each customer and gladly answered any questions about the menu. Now, the food. It was simply delicious! The selection is good but not overwhelming, perfectly representing the local cuisine. The portions were generous. We ordered meat and pasta which were highly enjoyed to the last bit and seadas for the dessert was just chef’s kiss. The atmosphere was great as well and seamed ideal for a date or a small festivity. We will definitely return here and...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this lovely little restaurant in Alghero and were instantly charmed. Even though we hadn’t reserved and it was already busy (and it does get busy quickly!), the owner went out of his way to make sure we could eat, especially since it was our first time there.
What truly stood out was how he personally talked us through every dish explaining ingredients, traditions, and stories behind them. His passion was contagious, and it made the whole experience feel incredibly personal.
And the food? It felt like home. I don’t care where you’re from this is the kind of cooking that makes you pause and savour every bite. Rich, soulful, and full of care.
Everyone should go. Just do yourself a favour and book ahead if you can you’ll thank...
