La vecchia Grotta Del Diavolo — Restaurant in Alghero

I don't write many reviews, but I have to here.

We wanted to stop in today. We were rudely turned away in the pouring rain with 2 children and were told to sit outside. All the tables in the dry were occupied, the others were standing in the pouring rain without any protection. Only 1 table inside was occupied by guests!

Sehr gute, freundliche und ausgesprochene schnelle Bedienung. Englisch wird sehr gut verstanden. Man kann Sonderwünsche meist ohne Aufpreis anbringen. Die in Italien oft übliche Servicegebühr am Tisch wird auch hier mit 2€ pro Gast erhoben. Da aber die Preise insgesamt absolut ok sind, nimmt man diese Gebühr hier mit einem schmunzeln. Die Pizzen selbst haben neben einem ausgesprochen guten Geschmack auch gleich Abmessungen, bei denen der Normalhungrige Esser Probleme bekommt. Aber selbst wenn man sich eine Portion der handgemachten Pommes bestellt die mit 4€ im ersten Moment etwas teuer wirkt, die Portion ist wirklich groß,die Pommes ultrafrisch und man schmeckt das es frisches Frtieröl ist und nicht irgendwelcher Fisch oder anderes Fleisch darin fritiert wurde. Dazu ein großes Bier Ichnusa 0,66ltr. für 2,80€ oder ein Glas sardischen Rotwein für 2,00€, und die Welt ist in Ordnung, man selber im Urlaub angekommen. Gerne wieder im kommenden Jahr. Und bitte iesen Service beibehalten. So...
