Do you believe in love at first bite? Because that's exactly what happened when I stumbled upon SardOa back in 2021! Tucked away in the heart of Alghero, this delightful spot was a lunchtime lifesaver, and boy, did it deliver!

Let's talk wine - oh, the wine! SardOa introduced me to the wonders of Sardinian vino, and there's been no turning back since. Their selection is a veritable treasure trove for any wine lover. Each bottle is a perfect symphony of flavors, encapsulating the spirit of Sardinia like no other!

When it comes to food, SardOa is a champion. Whether you're indulging in their traditional pasta, savoring a slice of their mouthwatering pizza, or treating yourself to a heavenly dessert, every bite is a flavor explosion! The portions? Super-sized! Here's a little secret: plan for a long, relaxed dinner or choose between the tempting antipasta+main dish duo or the delectable main dish+dessert combo. You can't go wrong either way!

But what makes SardOa really sparkle is their fantastic staff. They're not just friendly, they're like family! When they realized I was a regular, they went the extra mile to make me feel like a part of their SardOa tribe. It's their warmth and genuine kindness that make every visit a heartwarming experience.

Fast forward to my recent visit, and SardOa still rocks my culinary world! It's as fabulous as I remember, and then some. This isn't just a restaurant to me, it's a place that feels like home, fills my belly, and...

This place deserves 6 stars, if it were possible. We had 2 nights in Alghero and we visited here both nights. What an absolute gem! Bustling wine bar/gin bar/cheese & charcuterie hang out in the old town with wooden crates, hessian cushions, perfect mood music and the most wonderful attentive and knowledgeable staff. The wines were exceptional, as was the cheese and prosciutto we tried. The ambience was perfect! Make sure to arrive there early to get a seat (outside is great for people watching but inside is buzzing and plays great music). Shout out to the guy with the Perspex glasses that served us both nights and was fantastico!...

Très décevant ! J'avais demandé une assiette mixte de jambon, le serveur ayant pas bien compris ce que je voulais m'apporte une assiette avec 8 toasts différents couper en 2. Je lui explique gentiment que ce n'est pas ce que j'avais demandé il m'a répond qu'il ne pouvait plus changé la plat or que c'était des toast déjà préparé qui était prêt dans la vitrine et qui avait l'air d'être la depuis un moment déjà. Je dis d'accord tempi (de toute manière je les mangerais pas) mon mari embêté par "politesse" goûte 3 demi toast (ce qui fais au total 1 toast et demi sur les 8) immangeable il décide de plus manger. Le serveur voit que nous n'avons quasi rien mangé et propose quand même de changer le plat par une assiette de jambon mixte. Et reviens par après pour nous dire que nous devrions quand même payer ce que nous avons manger des toast (1toast et demi) ce qui est normal donc oui bien sur nous payeront. Je reçois l'assiette avec 1 sorte de jambon (j'avais demandé un mixte pourtant, et mon mari étant Sarde parle très bien la langue) pas grave je ne dis rien je mange le jambon avec mon mari nous terminons notre verre. Je vais à la caisse pour payer. La femme étant pas très sympathique à la base, me donne la note €60 pour 1 verre de vin,1 soft l'assiette de jambon et 1 toast et demi? Cela était sensé etre un apero, nous devions encore aller manger. Pour ce prix je mange 4 plat au restaurant à Alghero. Étonnée je demande pourquoi elle a contée la totalité de la première assiette, elle me répond que j'avais manger des toast. Je n'ai pas discuté, j'ai payer la note et je suis parti. Aucun geste commercial or que c'est eux qu'ils nous ont pas compris. Nous dire que nous payeront ce qu'on a manger pour après nous comté la totalité de l'assiette or qu'après nous avons pris une assiette de jambon à €30 cela est vraiment...
