Barracuda Bar-Ristorante — Restaurant in Alzachèna/Arzachena

My husband and I went to have dinner on Friday evening at Barracuda Bar-Ristorante. The quality of the food was not what we expected. As a starter, we ordered a plate of grilled vegetables to share, and it came cold (we think it was probably cooked hours before and just reheated to serve it to us). After that disappointing first plate, we ordered one plate of pasta each. Once ordered, unexpectedly, a different waiter came and started laughing (like making fun of us) saying that “because of the humidity of the ambient" they have to use spaghetti instead of linguini". While saying that to us, he was watching the rest of the employees, trying to also make them laugh. We did not understand why all that was happening, and we respectfully asked him to then just change that plate and to please bring me the same as my husband ordered. Two minutes later, another waiter came and served me the wrong plate and said, "Sorry, but it was already prepared like that by the kitchen." We got upset since, for us, it was like a joke. So, Why did they ask us if we wanted some ingredients instead of others (laughing all the time) if food was already made and they were going to serve it to us anyway? We still think that young guys are making fun of their clients. So sad for that cool area. Fortunately, the rest of the restaurants in that area have serious workers, and they do not have waiters like that...

Its located in the middle of the promonade witb prime spot. We ate at the terrace upstairs with a view. Did not book but this did not seem an issue on a Tuesday very early July. The waitress in charge of the terrace was rude, un attentive. She corked our our wine (broke the Cork and tried to serve it with floating bits). Our starter plates were left for 20 mins on no eating action before being asked if we had finished. I was not offered any conduments with my steak. Sinks in the toilet don't work properly. My wife was showered in the remains of a dropped plate when walking back up from the loo which was met with snigger from said waitress. When we asked for the bill it took so long we went downstairs to pay as and said waitress followed us and watched checking if we complained. The 15% tip is compulsory and advertised on every page of the menu definitely was not deserved.The food was nice but you can do much better...

My partner and I went into the restaurant with high expectations due to the menu, we were very let down and disappointed. We ordered two starters which were raw seafood and mixed meat and cheese which we waited over 40mins for! During this time I had to remind the staff about the drink I had ordered, and when doing so they were very frantic and abrupt. When the seafood starter came it wasn't prepared properly (prawns not de-veined) it was average at best! We waited a further hour or so on our mains which was seafood risotto and beef fillet, again prawns were not de-veined and food was terrible tbh and a terrible experience. When the bill came it was €139, we left 150 cash and waited for our change....they did not even return with our change! At this point we were so angry and disgusted we couldn't wait to get away. Avoid at all cost unless you want terrible food and treated...
