If you want to start a civil war in Italy I think serving frozen pizza on the promenade for 8 euros is the best way to do it. And yet that is exactly what I got and it tasted awful. Only reason I ate some of it was to keep me fed until the next pizzeria... pizza being frozen was confirmed also by the staff, dough is frozen, the rest is "fresh" (but then again not a lot of fresh options, given the rest is mozzarella, tomato sauce and salami sliced in half....). We aren't picky eaters but don't eat meat or fish and that's really all we could find in most other restaurants in the area, some with tanks with live lobsters which we find horrendous. We love the sea and loved staying in Baja but struggled to find good food. We found News Cafe after a few days and went back many times. Loved the food, drinks, location and they didn't over charge like some of the other places. Staff friendly and great advising things to go with our dishes. We passed by at 4pm where basically all the restaurants and kitchens are closed.

I was starving and especially dreaming about linguine with claims (not an easy dish to do) and long story short, they nail it. Great food, ambience and service!
