Lollo's Bar Caffetteria & Gelati — Restaurant in Anacapri

Went here for lunch with family. My lasagne was still frozen in the middle (not frozen solid, but icy). Unfortunately only discovered this after eating the outer edges and getting to a cold bit. They did change it for a hot one, but everyone else had finished by then. Everyone else's meal seemed fine until the evening when my daughter was violently sick and continued to be right through to the next day. For myself, I escaped with some mild diarrhoea. Exactly the way we wanted to spend our last 2 days in Italy. Not. Service was friendly though, but no amount of pleasantries can compensate for bad food and the aftermath. Best Lemon Granita in Capri.

We were told by a local that Lollo's serves the best Lemon Granita on the island and we were not disappointed. Perfect on a hot day after a trip up to Monte Solaro or just walking around town.

We stopped in a number of times during our stay and also had some of the tasty food on offer for lunch as well as other drinks and ice cream. Staff were fantastic and friendly - spoke great English and were happy to serve and joke with us tourists.

We stopped here for a spritz as we waited for friends to come down from Mount Solara. Friendly and funny staff, good spritzes and we ended up staying for a couple of panini when our friends joined us before afternoon shopping. Well situated in the piazza with outdoor seating and umbrellas if you need shade. Good spot to see the comings and goings of people as it is the main square of Anacapri where the busses from...
