We visited this restaurant with a group of eight as part of our Capri tour, led by our amazing guide Corrado (10/10 — highly recommend him!). Since we had limited time for lunch and needed to catch the lift to the viewpoint and make it back to the boat to Maiori, this was our best option. If you have more time during your tour, you could explore other restaurants in Anacapri.
The staff quickly seated us at a table for eight, and we ordered from Corrado’s special menu. Our choices included lemon ravioli, seafood pasta, and fried pizza. Dessert was also included — we had ice cream and cake — and drinks like beer or soft drinks were part of the set menu as well. The whole meal came to about €22 per person, which felt fair. Just note that cocktails or wine cost around €12 each, so choose wisely if you want to add drinks.
The seafood pasta was tasty but the portion was a little small. The fried pizza is made without tomato sauce, so it’s a bit different from the traditional Italian style. The lemon ravioli was a highlight, made with sweet Capri lemons that are less tart than those from Amalfi. Overall, the food was decent, but the real star of the experience was enjoying Capri with our tour group — not necessarily the meal itself.
Oh, and a word of caution: the Blue Grotto cocktail is...
Read moreBEWARE of their 12 Euro Lemonade/LemonSoda !!! This item is not listed in the menu and the waiter pushed for it with such urgency that I forget to ask the price. I realized only when the hand written bill came that we had to pay 204 euros for our group where everyone including kids had been sold this Lemonade/LemonSoda. When I asked to speak to a manager they disappeared for 15 minutes with no communication. They definitely knew that I was a tourist and did not have the time to wait all day for the manager. Since we had to catch our next ride I just wanted to pay up and get out of this horrible experience. That is when they said they do not accept credit cards and I have to pay in cash. In hind-sight everything makes sense. Our local tour guide (Mr. Sasha) recommended this restaurant and got us our table. He clearly said this place offers great food at a decent price and that he does not receive any commission. However after my meal I did see our tour guide Sasha meeting with the staff of the restaurant to collect his cut. So please avoid going to this place no matter what your tour guide suggests. If you must eat here then clearly look at prices in the menu and hold on to one copy of the menu till your...
Read moreMediocre. We came here because we booked the bundle ticket. However, this was more than disappointing.. everyone was clearly not happy with their meal and my sister and I usually finish everything but this was… mediocre at best and inedible at worst. If you have ever watched the good place, the food here belongs in the Medium Place. Mindy would be eating it everyday. The atmosphere and the service was wonderful tho! It had a really nice view of Capri. If you want authentic Italian food, this really is not the place. Here is my ratings for everything we had:
Bread - 3/10 ok but really not anything special Ravioli - 2/10 tastes like school food but also they were expired and sour Caprese Salad - 2/10 tomatoes very yummy but the salad and cheese were spicy and bitter Fried fish - 2/10 fries were the highlight and the fish was mixed with batter Fried Calamari - 2/10 it’s definitely calamari but idk how they made it bad Service - 9/10 nice enough and spoke English but weren’t anything special either Lemonade - 10/10 from a can but so...
