Me and my fiancé went to celebrate our engagement at Zuma which was written on the booking. We were greeted by staff and served well for the most part. During our meal we ordered the lobster maki roll, however this dish never arrived. During our meal we asked our server where the dish was as it had never arrived and if he could provide my fiancé with an ashtray. The server said he would check and bring the ash tray. The server did not come back with the dish or the ashtray. Another server came along and provided us with desert menus and then got my fiancé the ashtray as requested. After finishing our desert, we received a cheque that charged us for the lobster Maki roll that never arrived. When the staff came for us to pay we pointed this out to which she said she would speak to our server. The staff came back and said that our server told her this dish did come out to us. At this point we told the server again that the dish never came out, and ignored the fact that your staff made a mistake and their reaction was to call us liars rather than apologise. After reaffirming that the dish never came the staff went back to our server who then came to our table and rudely told us that the dish did come and described the dish to us. We confirmed this dish never came. The server insisted that it did as if we were lying to him and was very rude. At this point we both became very offended because he has now called us liars as if a €60 dish is going to change our lives. The server continued to be rude and insist that it did come to us until I pulled out pictures of all the dishes we ate, at which point he took the cheque and amended it. Had the server again rejected our word and called us liars, we were willing to wait for the staff to check the security camera footage. The condescending manner in which the server spoke to us was disgusting, to the point of which the table next us told us they felt terrible at how we were treated. When he gave back the cheque he threw it onto the table again very rudely. This ruined the otherwise great experience at Zuma and made us leave with a bitter taste in our mouths. Zuma Capri took our Capri experience to a whole new level. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric. The fire burners next to the table added a touch of ambiance, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Their attentiveness made us feel right at home throughout the entire evening.
