A lovely stay at a great hotel in the heart of Anacapri. The location of the hotel is great, nestled in the heart of Anacapri, but removed enough that it still feels very private and quiet. The amenities at the hotel are very nice; It has a great pool with poolside bar and restaurant, the Michelin restaurant L’Olivo was lovely, the spa was excellent and the gym quite well equipped. There is a shuttle running every 30 minutes to the Beach Club, though we found the Beach Club a bit underwhelming (no pool, just a few beach chairs to lay out on overlooking the sea). In particular the staff at the Capri Palace were fantastic; we got to know many by name and loved conversing and interacting with them on a daily basis. Several gave us their numbers to contact them if we had questions, both while we were on Capri or when we went to Napoli. Our only minor complaint about the stay was the room; we were fortunate enough to be upgraded from a Junior Suite to a Star Suite (roughly 700 euro per night upgrade) on top of a room already running over 2000 euro per night. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, with a large bed, couch, private balcony and decent space to move around. However, the bathroom was quite small and the shower so small that my wife and I (quite lean people) found ourselves constantly bumping into shelves and handles. Not nearly a big enough issue to detract from the wonderful stay, but given the pricing and “suite” designation, it was a bit disappointing. Overall we would definitely return to Capri Palace should we go back to Capri.

Great location as you can get a shuttle to the entrance of the hotel which isn't the case for some other 5 star hotels in capri town. Good service generally, very pleasant and polite but several breakfast staff failed to understand very simple requests whether in the restaurant or for room service. The rooms are generally pleasant with several different themes some being nicer than others. It took several changes before finding one that suited us. Good gym and the outside pool area is really nice and tranquil with good sun exposure all day. Negatives : Water temperature at the hot tap in the bath was capped at 38c degrees! No sauna in the spa, only steam room. There was a wedding reception one evening and we weren't informed. Zuma and A-ma-re hotels closed early for the season and we weren't informed prior to booking the room. Therefore the only restaurant on site was a 2 star Michelin restaurant. The food/snack menu in the bar was rather uninspiring. Tried the 2 star Michelin, wasn’t impressed. To start with its set in the same room where you eat breakfast which takes the shine off it a little. I chose a soup from the a la carte entree menu, ir coat €75 for this soup, it was nice but it was very simply, blended tomatoes, which felt underwhelming at €75 😂

We had the pleasure of staying at this very elegant hotel. After a short 45 minute hovercraft ride from Naples, we arrived at the Island of Capri. Then, we rode a taxi through very narrow roads (some of them by the side of a cliff) to the higher level of the island onto Anacapri to get to the hotel. The room we had was very unique and quite pleasing to the eyes. Lots of white and some blue. The floor of the entire room was tiled. You will never forget it when you see it. Everyone we met along the way on the hotel were very nice and helpful. The pool was heated which was very nice. The gym was small and without much choices. The food was good at the hotel restaurant. Portions were small just like in any Michelin starred restaurant. So, I preferred eating out at the ristorantes located along the main streets. The Barbarossa is very close to the hotel and serves very delicious food. The owner is very friendly and entertains customers.

Our stay at Jumeirah Capri in late May was an absolute delight. The weather was perfect, and although the island was getting busier, the hotel never felt crowded—even at near full capacity. We originally booked four nights but ended up extending to six because we were so impressed by the impeccable service and world-class amenities.||From the moment we arrived at the ferry dock, the experience was seamless. Despite the crowds, we were met immediately by hotel staff and whisked away in a private van. Once at the hotel, we were welcomed with access to the full resort, including the beach club and breakfast buffet—even though check-in wasn’t until 3 PM. A perfect start!||Highlights of Our Stay:| • Dinner at L’Olivo (2 Michelin stars): As hotel guests, we were able to get a reservation despite online bookings being unavailable months in advance. A real treat.| • El Riccio Beach Club: Gorgeous spot! Be sure to book your sunbeds early. The hotel provides a free shuttle—just let them know when you’d like to go.| • Daily Breakfast: Generous and fresh buffet featuring fruits, deli meats, cheeses, pastries, yoghurts, and various breads. Complimentary bottled water is also provided twice daily in your room and at breakfast, by the pool, and in the gym.| • Pool Service: The attendant was excellent—friendly, responsive, and always ready to accommodate your preferences.| • Limoncello Class with Francesco: This was a real standout. Francesco, the bar manager, made the class fun and informative—sharing stories while teaching us how to peel lemons, mix, and bottle our own limoncello. We even enjoyed a custom cocktail during the session. The limoncello rested for three days, and we were able to bottle and taste it before leaving. It was far better than anything you’ll find in shops—highly recommend doing this early in your stay so you can enjoy the full experience!||Final Tips:| • Book the limoncello class early—it takes at least 3 days for the infusion.| • Let the hotel know your arrival time in advance so they can arrange complimentary transfer from the ferry.| • Ask staff to help you reserve a table at L’Olivo on arrival—they prioritize hotel guests.||We would absolutely return and can’t recommend this...

This review is quite hard for my husband and I to write because we feel it necessary to be transparent and honest about our overall experience. Even though this review might have a more negative orientation I really want to highlight that the staff and service of capri palace Jumeriah is one of the best we have encountered.

So, here we go.

We checked in and when entering the scent in the reception and lobby was just off. I will not say exactly what it smelled like, BUT, it seemed to have been the flower decorations completely clashing with the stone-interior.

We had also booked a classic room, and here is where our experience of the hotel really takes a turn. The room was not cleaned, and not maintained at all. There were visible cracks in the shower and dirty.

However, quickly we were offered another room, but since we were only staying for three days the first night got ruined, which set the tone for the stay unfortunately.

The room we then got was a suite, and it was a big and beautiful room, with a great and comfortable bed and shutters for the night. However the maintenance in the bathroom (the handy-man work around the sink, well it's just not finished). We do have pictures of this but out of respect for the service we after all got, we will not post these, but we do hope that our feedback regarding maintenance of the rooms are taken in.

Because of how our experience started, and what we paid we do not feel that the price reflects the experience. We hade very high expectations on this place and the only thing that met those expectations were the help and service we got from the staff (and of course the people in charge).

We did love the breakfast, It was quite amazing as you'll have live suiting music to your coffee. We also hade an amazing lunch and afternoon at Il Riccio.

When checking out, once again the service was great, we went into Capri, and when taking the ferry pack to Positano the luggage was there waiting. We do want to thank you all for really trying and helping us out, this did not go unnoticed.

Thank...

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Capri Palace Hotel, and it was the best hotel experience we've ever had. This exquisite establishment has truly set the bar high when it comes to luxury accommodations.

The staff at Capri Palace Hotel deserves an additional two stars for their outstanding service. From the moment we arrived at the harbor, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. They were not only knowledgeable about the hotel's facilities and amenities but also provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and activities.

The service at Capri Palace Hotel was simply phenomenal. Every request we had was met with promptness and efficiency. Whether it was arranging transportation, making dinner reservations, or simply answering our inquiries, the staff was always ready to assist.

The attention to detail and the level of care provided by the staff truly set Capri Palace Hotel apart from any other 5 star establishments. The rooms were impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The amenities provided were of the highest quality, ensuring a truly luxurious experience.

The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. The spa offered a wide range of treatments and therapies and the pool area provided a serene space to relax and soak up the sun. The picturesque views of the surrounding landscape only added to the overall charm of the hotel.

Furthermore, the culinary experience at Capri Palace Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary.

In conclusion, our stay at Capri Palace Hotel was truly unforgettable. From the exceptional staff to the impeccable service and outstanding facilities, every aspect of this hotel exuded excellence. If you are seeking a truly luxurious and memorable experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Capri Palace Hotel. It has set a new standard of hospitality for us, and we cannot wait to return to...
