Le Terrazze di Properzio — Restaurant in Assisi

AVOID ! The owner mistreated the employees, and the customers. Takes advantage of the nice terrace view, to apply a non justified price to a scarce meal. Very rude person, which mistreated us as we asked to change our table due to the very cold night outside the terrace. After scarce main course we were left aside waiting to be served desert for 30 minutes. Owner is rude, and only money driven whom only takes care of tourist he can charge a good fee after his teatro. It has been the only restaurant in Assisi, were we did not feel as “home”, as all other ones were more than professionals and grateful to share with us their food experiences. I definitely would not recommend this place, and feel sad for the employees having to work under this stressed conditions, looking for tourist money only. Latr on he replied with all kind of lies, such as the arrival time, etc.. Fortunatelly we have the Visa proof of 9:30 PM wich clearly tells you that you can not have dinner in 30minutes, as he intends on saying we were late - we were not -. Moreover, the switch of table did not make him loose any sales, as the terrace is in a "such" demand as he says. Lies, lies, and more lies, wich should ashame the owner of the resaturant and swich the director for...

This is definitely a "Must go to" restaurant! My wife and I were looking for a place to eat while in Assisi, and we found this place.

Honestly, the view on the patio is breathtaking and made us feel like we were in a movie! The view on the terrace makes this place one of a kind, so get here early or make a reservation because they have limited seats.

Service was more than 5 stars! The servers were super helpful and friendly, spoke far better English than we spoke Italian, and made us feel right at home.

Finally, the food was outstanding. I'm not exaggerating that this is either the best or second best food we had in Italy in the 10 days we were there.

Between the excellent food, service, and view, this is a life altering experience and one of my best dining experiences in my whole life! Seriously, don't miss out on going here, you will...

Don't waste your time trying to go here. Their hours are not listed correctly on google; they will close right before you get there, and then act like you're a nuisance for not knowing their correct hours before you and your family waste your time and energy, and get sweaty in the heat, walking up the very long steep hill to get there. When you try to let them know their hours are incorrectly listed on google maps, they do not listen, interrupt you, are argumentative, and act like you are dumb while pointing to a sign next to their open door that has different hours listed. They do not seem to grasp the concept that this sign is not visible prior to walking up a long steep winding hill past many buildings.
