Delicious Food & Stunning Views
Le Arcate in Atrani truly exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic—easily some of the best we’ve had on the Amalfi Coast, and at much more reasonable prices than the busier spots in Amalfi. The view of the sea made the experience even more special, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting.
I highly recommend the tuna tartare—it was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The tuna and bocconcini salad was also light, refreshing, and beautifully presented. But the standout for me was the lemon cream pasta… it was unforgettable, the kind of dish that will haunt you (in the best way) long after you leave. Their limoncello spritz was the perfect pairing to it all—bright, refreshing, and well balanced.
Everyone at the restaurant was extremely friendly and welcoming. The only area for improvement would be the service, which was mostly great but had a couple of small hiccups—like having to wave someone down for more water or a drink refill, and a missed plate that was quickly corrected. Nothing major, but worth mentioning for a fully fair review.
Overall, Le Arcate is a must-visit if you’re in Atrani or amalfi. A true gem with excellent food, genuine hospitality, and breathtaking views. We’ll...

Came here at 9pm on a Thursday night. We waited 5 minutes for a table along the water. They did have tables available right away in the indoor cave thing.
Food here was phenomenal. The pasta with mussels, clam, calamari was amazing. One of my favorite pastas I’ve ever had in Italy. So much flavors and it was just perfection. There was also so much seafood for the price. Tons of mussels and clams. It was heavenly to eat. The lamb chops were also cooked perfectly with a nice sear and tons of flavor. Delicious meal. The fries and side potatoes were great as well. My fiancée had the pasta with shrimp and zucchini. There wasn’t many shrimp (only 3 very small ones). She didn’t like the texture of the shrimp. I’m guessing they’re different from typical jumbo shrimp. Other than that, the pasta was great.
Service and atmosphere were perfect. Always people around that you can flag down when you need help. And the atmosphere speaks for itself. It’s on the water with a...
Read moreThe view and location is great, but the food was quite underwhelming. We saw all these fantastic reviews so we probably just ordered poorly. I got the smoked mozzarella wrapped in lemon leaves, which we had heard a lot of great things about in our lemon tour (no taste of lemon at all, average mozzarella...) and the Tagliolini (pasta with lemon and cheese). I was going for a lighter meal but pasta was overloaded in melted cheese - not in a good way. The cheese felt fake and ruined the pasta for me. Extremely heavy. My homemade Mac and cheese is much better, so I expected ingredients here to be great. My wife got the mixed seafood dish and the fish was completely overcooked and flavorless. I tried it as well and agreed with her assessment. We are foodies and have had a wonderful experience in Italy, so again, maybe we just ordered wrong, but we did not enjoy what we ordered. I would stay away from those 3 items on the menu, you won't enjoy them. 5 for the location and 2...
