If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience away from the bustling tourist spots, Le Palme is an absolute must-visit. This hidden gem is just a short walk away from Amalfi, and it boasts some of the best vegetarian options in the area. As a travel blogger who's always on the hunt for unique and off-the-beaten-path places to eat, I can confidently say that Le Palme exceeded all of my expectations.

The atmosphere at Le Palme is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a complimentary soft drink to help us cool down from the summer heat. The restaurant also has separate sections for vegetarians in the menu, which made ordering a breeze.

As for the food, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The pizza was cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and fresh toppings, and the pasta dishes were bursting with flavor. I was particularly impressed by the variety of vegetarian options on the menu, which can be hard to find in some parts of Italy.

What really stood out to me about Le Palme was the speed of service. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived quickly, and the staff never made us feel rushed or hurried. It's clear that they take pride in their work and are passionate about providing their customers with an exceptional dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Le Palme to anyone visiting the Amalfi area. If you're looking for a relaxed and authentic Italian dining experience with excellent vegetarian options, this restaurant is an...

OMG! Really!

Have eaten all over Italy and particularly the South. This is the BEST food in southern Italy. When you taste the food, you literally say OMG! as an immediate response. Like Stanley Tucci on his CNN mini-series.

The food at Le Palme is really something special. The pizza is a gastronomic experience of freshness, delicate crust, and flavor. The pasta is something you will never forget. Salvatore, the owner is always there overseeing every table and every plate that is served. Salvatore is a consummate professional and very friendly. He uses the tomatoes from his garden for the tomato sauce which is light, sweet, wholesome, and with no acid. The best tomato sauce I have ever eaten.

We were in Atrani for two weeks and visited many, many restaurants, bit we kept coming back to Le Palme. It is really that good. Le Palme is very unassuming as are the other restaurants in Atrani.

At dinner my wife and I would start out each with a mixed or tomato salad (both of which were fresh and special), then we would split a Margherita pizza, then a pasta dish each, followed by either fish or meat dish each. All accompanied by a liter of wine, usually a decanter of white wine with sliced peaches added. Typically, the entire affair would cost between 60 and 70 Euros. Pretty affordable.

Le Palme is the most crowded restaurant in Atrani, as it's filled with locals. You know it's a good restaurant when it's filled with locals. We're going back next year. Can't wait to eat at Salvatore's LE...

Quick: delicious food, good service. Pizza is delicious. Reservations hold no meaning so no point in booking.

Came here at 8p on a weekend. I had a reservation for 8p but had to wait with everyone else including the walk-ins. There was no difference in the people who had reservations and those who didn’t. Definitely annoying as I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for a table when I booked at 8. Docking a star off service.

The food here was excellent. Lobster pasta was amazing with a beautiful presentation but even better taste. There was a lot of lobster meat inside and it was partly opened to make it easier. It tasted wonderful. The noodles were in a fantastic sauce as well. The pizza was the star of the night. It was amazing! Nothing more to say. Get the pizza! Both desserts (lemon sponge cake and tiramisu) were fantastic and I highly recommended both. Very happy with the meal and hope to come back.

Service here is pretty good. There is one main waiter and the rest are people who take things out. So it can definitely be hard to get the waiter’s attention with all of the tables. Our waiter was very nice though and welcoming. I thought the tables outside were a little to close for comfort for me. So that’s why I’m docking a star from...

Words can’t express how wonderful this restaurant is. We stayed in Atrani for 7 days. And out of those 7 days we went to Le Palme 7 times!! We went nearly every night for dinner and some days for lunch. It was that good!!! We were in Italy for 16 days and visited many cities - and the food here was the best out of all the places we ate! It was so authentic and delicious. I am going to miss the food so much - and the desserts are fantastic! Especially the lemon delight and tiramisu! I fell in love with the lemon linguine and the bruschetta!!! My favorite meal. The service was so wonderful and we became fast friends with the servers and owner!! They were all so friendly and welcoming and built a great relationship with our family. Leaving was so hard because we loved them all so much and especially the food! If you’re on the Amalfi Coast - this is an amazing restaurant and you must try it! You won’t be disappointed and I promise you will leave with a big smile, and a full heart. I will always remember my time at Le Palme! Grazie everyone! We will miss you all at Le Palme!! Grazie Salvatore!!! Ciao!!
