I had their sea food pasta which was very underwhelming for 26 euros. I was fine with not being full with the small portions but the pasta did not have any salt and tasted bland.
**Revising this review after seeing how the nasty owner of this establishment treats their customers calling them names such beggars after they offer honest constructive criticism. Before you visit this restaurant you really need to see how the owner reacts to honest criticism and make your own decison from there. It is truly disgusting. An honest business should try to listen to their customers but instead they blame their customers and talk down to them by insulting them and I am sure I am not the only one to see this behavior towards customers is just wrong. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I am not sure how they have 4.7 stars by acting this immature. My advice to this owner is to stop being defensive and learn from their mistakes, take accountability, and try to improve instead of talking down and insulting your customers if they do not give 5 stars. The best thing that has happened to this place is Denzel Washington visiting and that's about it. And for your last response I invite anyone to look at my past reviews, this is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.. You are a nasty owner and Karma will work itself out in the end. Say what you want but your attitude towards customers is shameful, unprofessional, and pathetic which will ultimately lead to the downfall of your small business. Anyway, sure, you got me that I am no professional tour guide but perhaps serving customers and taking criticism is beyond your skillset and capacity. At this point perhaps find another line of work because I have honestly seen better customer service at McDonalds. Truly pathetic. I plead that anyone who reads this review checks how this owner treats their customers and they will clearly see who treats people like dogs. The truth is right here for everyone to see about how you respond to your customers reviews and just with a few minutes of scrolling, everyone can see that YOU treat them like dogs and like a nasty dictator. Nice try making this about me though!

Read moreWe came here for both lunch and dinner on the same day. The lunch was really nice, we both had the Bolognese on their Light menu, which was super affordable compared to Amalfi. The staff were really friendly, there was no overpriced service charge and the service was super quick. The portion sizes were quite generous, and the quality was great! It was in a cute little square in the middle of Atrani, with nice outdoor seating. The server even gave us back more change when we paid in cash, to make it an €5 note instead of change, which was a nice gesture.
When we came back in the evening, the atmosphere was a bit more formal, with different table decorations which was quite nice. We had the Gnocchi from the light menu and the Monkfish Fusili from the dinner menu. Both meals were quite nice, the sauce of the Monkfish was really rich and flavoursome and the pasta was lovely. The Gnocchi was ok, good value for the price (€9). The only thing we didn't like is that they added service (which wasn't there at lunch) and charged for bread (which was not requested). Regardless, this was still really good value. In all, it was a really nice meal, and we would definitely recommend it, it's only a short walk away from the tourist traps in Amalfi and offers way better value...
Read moreThis is the best restaurant in the Amalfi area, in my opinion. Delicious authentic food, reasonable prices and lovely welcoming staff. It's a family restaurant and after eating there for several days in a row, I felt like part of the family. I especially loved the nonna, and we bonded over our attempts to learn each others' languages. If lived in Amalfi, I would eat here every night. I tried lots of things on the menu, and in my opinion you can't really go wrong with any of them, but my favourite was the zucchini pasta (which is also one of the cheapest). I am learning Italian and they were very patient with my efforts to speak it, but they also speak English if you prefer that. It's only 13 minutes' walk from the cathedral in Amalfi, and well worth it for the superior food and slightly cheaper prices. If you're walking from Amalfi, follow the coastal road on Google Maps and make sure you turn right and cut through one of the seafront restaurants when you reach the motorway tunnel instead of going through it, like I did on my first attempt. This way, you will save yourself a lot of hassle avoiding cars and getting lost in the residential maze of...
