If I could give less than 1 star I would have done it. Don’t go there!! Rude people. No respect to guests. They tried to charge money for entering the water, even though we didn’t use the sun beds at all, and though we ordered drinks. Charging for entering the water is against the law!!. Entering the water is free of charge all over Italy. They spoke unpolitely to me . . and to my wife. Stay away from this rude place.a lot of alternative beautiful places around. Attention. They responded after I wrote this review that we were not guests there instead of apology. We sat in this place and drank 3 daiquiri lemon. We went to the beach using their stairs. Afterwards they tried to charge us unlegitamly cause we entered to the sea!! They asked 60 euros for it!! When I told them that I am a lawyer and it is forbidden, they . retrieved .be .aware. SPECIAL NOTICE: after 2 years, the “management representative “, reacted to my review with False alleged “facts”, all with unlegitimate try to convince the readers, that I “deserved” the bad attitude I received from this place; me and my family. Unbelievable. Remember my review, if the unfortunate ones, will visit this place and will receive the same ugly attitude we received, AS NORMATIVE PEOPLE, and not as an irrelevant fact that I am lawyer. BE AWARE FROM THIS...
Read moreWell....where should I start...we spent a month in Amalfi (yes..a month)... Our rule was simple, we would not travel more that 100 meters from our hotel... so we woke up...walked to Mar De Cobalto, and spent our days there... under the umbrella, out for a swim, up to the club deck veranda for a drink and a snack, get some working done... and repeat this till 6pm. You can't find a more accomodating, pleasant, sincere, lovely and helpful group of people, and that is saying A LOT if you know how wonderful Italians already are....while we were acutally there Amalfi was voted the best beach and and Mar Di Cobalto was voted the best beach club on the beach...We may just be different, you may love busses and ferries, etc. We just wanted to be immersed in Amalfi and absorb every bit we could. We have missed the beach club from the moment we left and it will be the first place we go when we are back in Amalfi. I could mention every name but since I don't know if that is ok, I can tell you I know everyone that works there from the owner to the chef to the lifeguard to the wait staff...I just am at a loss for words how beautiful and sincere these people are.... we are so lucky (aka blessed) we got to spend a month with these beautiful people at this beautiful beach club in the worlds most...
Read moreWe were having a hard time picking which beach area to enjoy for the afternoon since none of them openly post their prices that we could find. But, one of the staff came up to let us know what was included - umbrella, chair, bathrooms, shower (cold water only - warm water was extra), and access to the snack counter for food & drinks. We got a "deal" for the 4 of us, but honestly couldn't tell you if it was competitive since we couldn't find anything for any of the neighboring beach clubs. 4 chairs, 2 tables, & 2 umbrellas for the 4 of us and we stayed until they began closing up around 18:30 when the sun was beginning to go behind the mountains. Easy access to the water. We all had drinks that were reasonably priced, pretty good, and the staff was waiting there for anything we needed or any questions we had. Just look for the...
