AVOID! it was our first trip to the Amalfi coast as I have wanted to go for so long. We stayed in the beautiful little town of Atrani away from the business of Amalfi. We decided to venture into this beach bar as we wanted some lunch before heading out onto the beach. Upon walking in the place is bit of eyesore not very modern. The tables are all mis matched and the decor is strange but we decided to give it a try. I ordered a bruschetta with mixed vegetables and on the menu indidcated it should have olives in. It came with no olives. The tomatoes were so pale and watery and it looked like no care was taken to prepare our food. My husband ordered a pasta dish, it arrived half frozen which basically means it was a microwave meal. For €14. I was shocked. Looks like they have increased the price too as they have put stickers over the previous prices! (See photo below) The drinks were served in plastic cups and the large beer my husband ordered was warm. The bone idle, over confident waiter, who annoyingly was stood smoking right next to our table, noticed we didn't eat hardly any of our food took the plated away and never asked if anything was wrong. He was too busy seeing which table would tip him. It got even worse from here. We were brought out some cakes (which we didn't even ask for) we assumed they were free so we ate them. When we went to pay for our bill, I queried the price because it was 10€ euros higher than I calculated. I also asked why my food didn't have olives like stated on the menu The rude and arrogant older woman behind the bar who apparently was the "chef" and owner, yelled at me, said they didn't have olives. I asked for itemised bill and she refused saying we needed to pay and get out. So I ended up having to pay extra 10 euros for 2 cakes I never asked for. They will add money to your bill without you knowing and try to get away with it. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID! I don't understand all the high ratings for this place....where do I start....entering the place I couldn't work out if it was a shop or bar very confusing. Felt like I had stepped back in time very outdated, but thought hey give it a go and might be cheaper for this reason. Food- absolutely disgusting, they are charging 14 euros for what is essentially a cheap ready meal, slapped on the plate with no presentation.(See below pics) Ordered "carbornara" and "lasagna" which they claim on the poster outside made fresh daily, don't be fooled, it's a frozen ready meal, I Google translated the menu and all the meals are frozen. BEWARE! They bring you out "complimentary items" such as cakes and stone cold fries, only for them to add 5 or 10 euros to your bill at the end. I challenged the "lady" who I assumed was the owner. I asked for itemised bill and she refused and became aggressive with me. They try to get away with over charging you and thinking you won't notice. She wanted us paid and out asap. Seems after 8pm you out stay your welcome. I asked for a bottle of beer as they don't do draught, and the beer was warm. It was a 31 degrees day and they gave me a lukewarm beer. When I asked if they had a colder one they claimed it was straight from the fridge and coldest they do. The waiter, I think name Salvatore, clearly just wanted tips and was so over bearing I couldn't hear myself think. Avoid this place, go to the square, much better places to spend your hard earned money.

From the moment we stepped into this beautiful restaurant, we were captivated by its serene ambience and welcoming energy. Nestled in a picturesque location with a stunning view, it felt like we had stumbled upon a peaceful retreat—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting over good food. The hospitality was truly exceptional. The staff were attentive and kind, and the owners themselves greeted us with genuine smiles that instantly made us feel at home. There was a heartfelt emotional connection to the place—it wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience filled with warmth and sincerity. The food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavor, clearly prepared with love and care. Whether you’re a food enthusiast or just someone looking for a satisfying meal, this place will exceed your expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to escape the noise of daily life and enjoy a peaceful meal in a family-like setting. It’s not just about the food (which is phenomenal), but also about the feeling of belonging that makes this place so special.
