Nestled in the heart of culinary delight, Geralacca is a hidden gem that my wife and I couldn’t resist visiting twice during our week-long stay. This charming establishment, run by the dynamic duo Carmine and Greta, offers an unforgettable dining experience. Carmine, the master of the fridge, ensures everything is perfectly chilled, while Greta, the culinary genius, crafts each dish with passion and precision. Our meal began with a tantalizing white bean entrée that teased our palates and set the stage for what was to come. The orecchiette con cime di rapa was a symphony of flavors, followed by the succulent entrecôte and tender pork shank, both of which were exceptional. Each bite was a testament to Greta’s skill and dedication. Carmine’s wine pairing was impeccable, enhancing the flavors of each dish. We were also fortunate to meet a local vintner, @albertolongo, who generously shared a bottle from his vineyard, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. From start to finish, our meal at Geralacca was nothing short of a five-star experience. This is a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary...
Read moreFood was good but they seemed light on staff so not very good interactions and they were rushing about. Wine menu they have is a waste of time as they simply don’t have much of what’s in list. So you spend time selecting a decent wine only to find out they don’t have three choices so they bring you options and you have to make up your mind on the spot without knowing the wine. I dislike this a lot as I look forward to a good wine with steak. Tomahawk was nice, but all meats come on a hot plate which I also dislike as the meat continues to cook so I had to pull it off and put on the vegetable plate so it stayed medium rare. Cut badly in thick chunks. They need sharper nicer knives and meat should be on a board so you can manage this yourself. I like this as it’s a pleasure to cut your own. Meat was nice. Nice savoury salad also. Brunello di Montalcino was nice but young compared to my first choice. The place has potential to be so much more. Not that...

We chose Ceralacca based on the great reviews here on TripAdvisor. According to the listed hours (both here and on Google), the restaurant was supposed to open at 7:00 PM. We arrived on time and waited for over 30 minutes — the doors remained closed.
There was someone inside who simply pointed at a small sign saying they were closed. No explanation, no apology.
We were very hungry and truly didn’t expect such treatment. Why not update your opening hours? Why not let people know that you are not open at all today? This is basic respect for your guests.
Extremely disappointing experience. We will never come back and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I sincerely hope the management reflects on how they treat people who trusted the reputation and chose...
