Ristorante Tiella — Restaurant in Bari

It was late, my toddler was exhausted, but we needed to eat before bed. We walked to a few spots and couldn't eat there, so my husband found this place. Not a bad spot. Unlucky, there aren't high chairs for my toddler who could really use one that night. We ordered and the food was really good. My orriechette was delicious and the plate was deeper than it seemed, perfect for sharing with my toddler. My husband got the tiella, delicious as well. The staff was a little slow though, maybe it was just that night, maybe I was impatient with a tired toddler, but it was slower than I would've liked. I mean, we almost left after getting water we were dealing with meltdowns. But the staff didn't complain, no one did. We calmed down. We ate. Things are looking better so we push it and get dessert. I got the ricotta cheesecake and that was GOOD. My toddler and I were fork jousting over it. Would I say this is an absolute must visit place, maybe not. But if you don't know where to go and want something good, yeah......

Ho ordinato ieri pomeriggio una consegna per oggi ( domenica ) di 10 porzioni di riso patate e cozze ( la tiella barese ), 8 porzioni di insalata di polipo e 8 porzioni di cozze gratinate e come pubblicizzato da sito volevo venissero consegnate a domicilio. Il titolare al telefono è stato cordiale e disponibile ma quando mi ha detto che il domicilio era solo nella zona vicina devo ammettere di aver avuto dubbi sulla serietà del locale, ( in seguito mi sono ricreduto ) ci siamo accordati allora per l orario di consegna e ritiro ( sono andato io ). Il locale è molto bello, pulito e confortevole, il personale molto educato e disponibile, ( purtroppo pochi clienti sicuramente a causa covid e di questo me ne dispiaccio molto e gli auguro che le cose migliorino ) ho ritirato tutto e come da accordi era tutto pronto, e non intendo pronto dalla mattina , ma pronto appena sfornato e preparato. Il conto in rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo, abbiamo avuto anche alcuni extra gratis ed uno sconto di tutto rispetto sul totale. Le portate erano in porzioni abbondanti e confezionate nel massimo rispetto igienico. I prodotti ittici ( nel mio caso cozze e polipi Freschissimi ) la cottura della tiella perfetta con la giusta sapidità del riso e della patata, il polipo sicuramente trattato in maniera professionale era squisito e quasi si scioglieva in bocca, le cozze sicuramente controllate una per una erano freschissime cotte in modo impeccabile e gratinatura della giusta croccantezza. Ringrazio il titolare e lo staff x il pranzo perfetto della domenica che ci avete preparato. Sicuramente tornerò per assaggiare le altre portare del menù che è vario e a mio dire molto interessante per i curiosi del gusto pugliese. Unica e sola pecca ... ( Ma lo dico in base al mio gusto personale sia chiaro.. ) la zucchina nella tiella.... Nn me l' aspettavo ! Per tutto il resto ... Consiglio vivamente di andarci almeno una volta .. sicuro ci tornerete ancora e ancora... E ancora.. buona domenica a...

Very good restaurant. We had some delicious pizzas and an oven-cooked panzerottini. The pizza and panzerottini dough is homemade, thin and crispy, which is excellent. The garnish is tasty and the prices are very honest. You can also find some typical barese plates such as orechiette on the menu but their specialty is obviously pizza. The staff was very nice and reactive, they found us a table even though we had no reservation, the pizzas came very fast.
