Horrible service! Made us wait completely unattended for 25 mins..Got irritated when I went up to them asking about a table for lunch (we were seated in the cafe area)..After another 20 mins they say sorry, the waitress didn't know that the kitchen has closed, you cannot have lunch. All this after wasting almost 40 mins of our time. I had asked them about lunch just on entering, the waitress had said 'please sit in the cafe area till a table is free'!
Then my friend wants a coffee...Same thing repeats. We wait for what feels like forever, the staff gives us unnecessary attitude! Icing on the cake is, while leaving the place, we see hot lunch being served to customers that came half an hour after us. I wonder how these people get away with such 'service'?

Read moreThe food was good but the waiters were not cheering. Customer satisfaction should come first. There were 4 people there and I asked for 4 menus and they brought only 3 and told us to share them, They acted like it was our job to make them satisfied not them. They are not giving free meals, we are paying for everything so they have to make us happy. We felt their eyes on us. I believe they have been serving there for about 500 years but they haven’t got many options to eat and non-alcoholic drinks for the ones who don’t drink alcohol. Overall food and location are good but the people who worked there aren’t nice. I hope they change their attitude before the place’s reputation is over because they are treating their customers...
Read moreWe loved the experience and food here so much that we came back the next night. All of the staff were a delight, including the hostess Betta who recognized us the second night. Our first meal was the cheese board and a casoncelli de Bergamo, both of which we split. The restaurant was very kind and split the pasta into two plates for us. For our second visit, we had a glass of wine with snacks before pasta each followed by Donizetti, the local apricot cake. Both nights were wonderful and the atmosphere is enhanced by the people watching on the quaint square that the caffe occupies. Be sure to go inside and look at the framed art, they have framed drawings that clients do on napkins. Highly recommended on your...
