Ignore the posts about the flood of antipasti coming to the table, it's panicked tourists who don't know how that works. Basically, they default to an antipasto misto for everyone, and in my experience I was asked if I wanted it - if you eat any of it, you pay for it (10 per head), you can have as much as you want. But you can just say you don't want it and you won't pay for it. True, they could be clearer about it perhaps, but if you speak Italian it's clear.
Onto the food itself, it's reasonable. Had good pasta, and an excellent osso buco. The desserts are again at your choice like the antipasti, you can basically have as much as you want. This experience is not uncommon in Italy, it's a pity so many tourists are taken aback by it.
Having said all this, I don't think I would return, the food isn't mindblowingly good like some places in Bologna can be. It's okay. Prices are okay, service is excellent - chatty, knowledgeable, friendly...

No menu with posted prices means they can charge what ever they want... and they do. When I was handed my check that only had a total and nothing else... the waiter refused to make eye contact with me.
We did not receive an itemized check, nor did €30 make sense per person for what we had eaten. We had the recycled appetizer, pasta, and 2 glasses of wine and 1 bottle of water. I should define recycled appetizer. What you dont eat from the multiplate appetizer is then passed to the next table. Regardless of how many times someone has stuck their fork in it. It's unclean and raises more questions about the exceptionally...
