Fantastic place! We’ve popped in for afternoon drinks and have had lunch here as well. The food was superb and service absolutely top notch. The space is gorgeous and unique, just a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed the aged cocktails and wine, a perfect spritz and more - easy to spend an entire afternoon or evening here, such good vibes. We had the baked feta and pantesca salad to start, both were great, an intermezzo of salmon tartare which lasted maybe 60 seconds on the plate it was delicious! Next we had the filled pasta and chicken for mains and finished with tiramisu for dessert. All excellent. The bread basket was very nice as well. I haven’t seen another place in Bologna doing what they’re doing here and we will most definitely be back again soon. Next time charcuterie and more cocktails! Wonderful dinner sitting at the bar. Huge shout out to Samuel, the bartender, for making us feel so welcome and taking time to explain all the special things the restaurant does.

First, make sure you try the cask-aged Negroni. Was fantastic! Ask the staff for input on a drink you might like if you're a cocktail fan like us.

Second, you can't go wrong with any of the food on the menu, but we really enjoyed our pasta. My pepper pasta was so cheesy!

Make this a stop for dinner, and maybe a show if you sit at the bar and watch everyone...

My husband & I dined at Fior di Sale Sat, May 13/23. We were fortunate to have a very early seating as the restaurant became quite busy after 7:15, and service was much slower as there were few wait staff. Appetizers: Roasted feta cheese (very generous portion) & Roasted sardines - both were tasty. Mains: Spaghetto & Grilled red tuna - delicious! Fortunately we had just enough room for dessert: Pannacotta (my husband so enjoyed this dessert) & Malden salt shortcrust pastry (more red fruit sauce would have made this perfect!). A...
