Good and not so good. On the plus side, we arrived at 8pm on a Sunday evening and were seated without a reservation. Service was perfunctory, neither friendly nor unfriendly. First course (meatballs and lasagne) was delicious. 5 stars so far for food, 3 for service. Then things went downhill. We waited well over 30 minutes for the second course, even though the restaurant was far from busy. The food arrived at our table barely lukewarm. It was tasty enough and we were quite hungry by now, so we ate it, but it had definitely been sitting out for some time, and we couldn't have complained if we wanted to because no staff came near us before or after delivering the food. We went up to the counter to pay, (can't imagine how long we would have waited at the table for the bill!) and when asked how the food was we mentioned it was cool. No concern or apology, and a fairly hefty bill to boot. Unfortunate, as the food was quite good. But poor service and organisation let...

It is a lovely cozy chic restaurant for a meal, either aline, or with family, friends, or business partners. The food! Just wow! You'll find there tipical Italuan dishes at their best! I am still droolling, even if I've just finished dinner there couple of hours ago! Y-u-m-m-i-e !!! The restaurant has food for the body, soul, and mind! The food is just ultra great; the decorations are adorable, making it a cozy warm alive breathing place, music is nice. And last, but not least, the employees are super nice! Mille grazie to them, for an excellent dinner serving! A bit hidden, but yes, a must-go-and-eat-there place. The quality of dishes is way above the average rushed tourist dish that sadly it can be found in way too many other restaurants. Grazie @ Osteria De' Poeti, for a...

Had dinner here after having appetizers at another restaurant. I and my company were not as hungry as anticipated so we only had a main course each. I had pasta bolognese and my company had tortellini in broth.

My food was nothing special while my company enjoyed theirs but found it slightly disappointing compared to another place we visited the other day.

After receiving the check we waited for at least 15 minutes for our waiter to come collect our payment. She did not show and we ended up going to the cashier. Management was very unhappy about how our waiter treated us which was a small consolation.

Restaurant is very romantic and rustic and I'm sure it would have left a much better impression had the appetite been bigger and the waiter a bit...

Nice atmosphere and décor, but the food was disappointing. As a starter, I had meatballs in cream sauce with black truffles. The meatballs were dry and the truffles were tasteless. Why put truffles on the menu if they aren't fresh? My risotto served from the Parmigiano cheese wheel was good, but no better than what I could make at home. The desert and the wine were the best parts. In a city so famous for it's food, I don't think I will be going back.

We had such an amazing dinner here! I ordered the gluten free tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce, and we shared the braised rabbit (though I'm sure the gravy wasn't GF....!) It was all delicious. We've been in Italy for just over a week, and this was our favorite meal so far. Also, the restaurant was quiet and a great atmosphere with friendly and courteous service. Highly recommend this place!
