Sale Grosso — Restaurant in Bologna

Lovely place withen the crowded place of Bologna. The street gives an uncommon but very nice ambiance for a very peaceful dinner. The kitchen is absolutely great and the dishes are clean, fresh, lovely and above all: inspiring. Something different and lovey between the fat and salt-driven (but lovely) food of Italia. The service was lovely and very accurate. For me, i think the wines can be more interesting, especially for the price range and p/q level (which is great). This doesnt mean that the wines arent great. But i think, with regard to the place and the kitchen, the wines could and would definitely takes this place to a next level. Seafood in a welcoming, friendly environment. The place is just around the corner in a side street , and if you’re not paying attention, it’s really easy to miss - you’re just not that likely to stumble upon it. And that would be a mistake, because this is exceptionally good food, long on seafood, and put together really well. The prices are a bit higher than normal, but not unexpectedly so, it’s definitely not overpriced. And the folks are, as mentioned, friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to discuss the menu (or anything else) at length. And oh yeah, good wines, and really really good...

Purtroppo devo lasciare una recensione molto negativa perchè le aspettativa e i prezzi sono alti. Siamo andati a cena io e la mia compagna con una coppia di amici. Uno di noi ordina un fritto misto (su cui è specificato con alici), noi prendiamo puntarelle e alici e di secondo Polpo , pasta con ricci, tortelli con ricciola e macco. Il fritto misto arriva subito , ma non hanno ancora portato il pane! Dopo 20 minuti chiamo il cameriere e gli faccio notare che stiamo aspettando gli antipasti (freddi) da un bel pò e che uno di noi ha già finito da un pezzo il suo fritto misto in cui mancavano le alici e che si è dimenticato di portarci il pane. Il cameriere si scusa ma non succede nulla, devono passare altri 10 min per vedere gli antipasti e devo chiamarlo ancotra per farmi portare il pane. Si scusano diverse volte per ritardi e confusione. I piatti sono ok (il mio polpo appena appena), ma se una pasta la fai pagare 22 euro non basta essere ok deve essere un pò di più. Il conto: 3 antipasti, i primi o secondi che ho descritto e 2 dolci che abbiamo mangiato in 4 più bottiglia di vino 190€, che non è altissimo, ci può stare, ma 10 euro di sconto per i disagi che avete creato ci stavano tutti.
