Bar i Girasoli — Restaurant in Brescia

Obviously a very nice, quiet and iconic location, but the staff isn't very welcoming or helpful. We wanted to have a nice aperitivo there, as it was meant to substitute dinner. Therfore, we asked if they could bring us a richer portion or something else to eat (of course we would have paid extra): the answer was short and not very kind - "No, we don't do that!". Same thing when we wanted to pay separately. "Sorry guys, we don't do that". The impulse was to ask, "OK, so WHAT do you do for your clients?". As we were still hungry and thirsty, but we didn't feel particularly welcomed there, we moved to Piazza La Loggia, where the place nearest to the Loggia serves excellent drinks and food as well with more customer...

Very nice music, great wine, fast service at the bar.

Pretty terrace. I recommend going here to drink wine or buying a bottle with. You can also enjoy great atmosphere inside in the bar and outside on the terrace.

Service was not ok, the gentleman looked stressed out and did not talk to us at all while we ordered. The young girl service was great!

We spent a wonderful "happy hour" on Easter Sunday, sitting at a table on the little square, looking at the people of Brescia walking by so elegantly, having perfectly made Sprizz Aperol and great and substantial antipasti, with a very friendly and alert service. We are looking forward to returning to this pleasant...
