Trattoria Due Stelle — Restaurant in Brescia

Staff is friendly, careful and both risotto and pasta with tomato and ricotta cheese were delicious (dishes were present on the fixed price menu for lunch). Service was very good and everything delicious. Two suggestions in order to improve the overall experience:

give more choice: on the fixed price menu for lunch there are no vegetarian second dishes. Even if the restaurant seems specialized in meat, offering a choice for everyone is advisable, considering there are various people with different needs and considering also many steakhouses (this is not even promoted as a steakhouse) still offer the vegetarian alternative. This would make the restaurant more accommodating for groups having people with specific dietary requirements review price for the fixed price menu with only one course: between this and the complete menu there is only €4 of difference, making the one course only menu definitely not convenient. If someone wants to just eat one dish, they still make a better deal to have a complete menu, because of the really small difference in price. In similar restaurants I have seen menu for one course only going near €6, while this applies €8 and the complete menu costs just €12. It is easy to understand that complete menu is still the best deal even if you are not much hungry, that’s why I recommend a review of the price for people eating just one course. I think a difference of €6 between the two menus would make both deals convenient based on how much someone wants to eat.

In this restaurant you can choose to eat inside or outside. On evening they have a la carte menu with some particular dishes you cannot find everywhere. Also their pastries are declared as made in house, even if I have not tried them.

Trattoria due stelle, Brescia.

Sono già parecchie volte che mi fermo a mangiare in questa trattoria tipica bresciana nel centro di Brescia e devo dire che il locale è molto caratteristico ed accogliente. Come antipasto lo gnocco fritto con tagliere di salumi era molto buono, il primo tagliatelle al salmì erano favolose ed altrettanto lo stracotto d’asino e per finire dolce caffè e amaro mi hanno soddisfatto molto Le porzioni erano abbastanza abbondanti. Il personale dello staff era molto cordiale e disponibile, mentre il prezzo secondo me era giusto rispetto a ciò che ho mangiato. Sicuramente appena avrò l’occasione di ritornare a Brescia vi ritornerò volentieri.

I have already stopped to eat in this typical Brescian trattoria in the center of Brescia several times and I must say that the place is very characteristic and welcoming. As an appetizer, the fried dumplings with cold cuts platter was very good, the first course tagliatelle al salmì were fabulous and equally the stew of donkey and finally the sweet coffee and amaro satisfied me a lot. Food was good, salat was dry and old, staff was friendly.. we were with 2 adults and 1 child, had to pay inside, 160 euros but 150 was fine as well, he told me.
