Acquapazza — Restaurant in Brindisi

We had a bad experience here. The raw fish selection I had at the beginning of the dinner was fresh and delicious, but when we got to the main course things began to turn wrong. Me and my girlfriend's father were given an extremely salt risotto "acquapazza" which was really unpleasant to eat. We politely notified the waiter which took it really bad and tried to make a fool of us questioning our taste. My girlfriend's father then ordered ravioli to replace the risotto and they were literally unsalted and I mean literally. (We didn't complain because we just wanted to go back to the hotel) The Chef then came out in the terrace where we were sitting and started staring at us like we where undesired guests while the waiters stopped caring about us and treating us really miserable (we got no forks and waited 15 minutes just to pay the bill as they refused too look in our direction)

It was really a shame that it turned that way since we were recommended this place by the receptionist at the hotel.

Fresh fish but really unpleasant service and...

We were sat immediately (we had reserved a table by phone) but there was a long wait (approximately 1 hour) before our starters arrived, despite the restaurant being half empty. Portion sizes were small for first course. “Crudo di mare” starter with just a few pieces for 25 euros. The worst was the tagliolini with crostacei whose pasta had not been salted during the cooking, making it a tasteless dish. Clams had not been properly prepared, resulting in sand being visibly in the dish, dish that was rejected by us. Fritto misto was incredibly small. Service was not attentive. Only positive note were the fried prawns starters and the three bottles we drank (Ribolla Gialla and Somma sparkling wine). Restaurant is a bit disturbed by the nearby road with passing cars. Overall a really disappointing experience coronated by a 420 Euros bill for 10 guests, which, for what we received is really a very poor...

Ieri sera ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante x caso visto la poca gente seduta, dopo 5 minuti ci hanno fatto sedere per via della pulizia dei tavoli, fin qui tutto nella norma (+o-). Quando arriva il menù svolazzante e decidiamo nel frattempo giunge il personaggio (titolare) facendo battuta che x dei clienti nuovi della zona certamente risultava offensiva: LO AVETE IMPARATO A MEMORIA IL MENÙ!!? seguito da qualche risatina di persone presenti.... va beh lasciamo passare, deciso di prendere un fritto di paranza con due primi, 2 calici di vino ed 1 bottiglia d'acqua ordine effettuato ore 23 dopo 40 minuti di attesa cj veniva comunicato che il fritto non era più disponibile perché finito... ma come MI FAI ASPETTARE 40 MIN X AVVISARMI CHE NN CE NE PIÙ? avremmo deciso di prendere subito il primo altrimenti.... va beh pure questa passa, ore 00:15 finalmente arriva il nostro primo (nulla da dire sulla bontà dei piatti) ma la quantità a mio avviso era davvero esigua 6 paccheri contati ed una forchettata data bene di linguine... siccome mi reputo un signore in confronto a questo Tizio (proprietario) ed essendo in vacanza ho voluto passare sopra pure a questo. Nel momento di pagare riferivo al proprietario come fosse andata la cena nel modo più educato possibile mi veniva detto questo E SI SA CHE QUANDO SI VA IN UN LOCALE A FERRAGOSTO SI PUO AVERE UN PO DI ATTESA... con quell'aria di superiorità che booh... infatti gli ho detto non è x l'attesa ma perché me fatt aspettá 40 min solo x dirmi che la frittura non si poteva fare....? Non ho avuto risposta....premetto che in tutto il locale c'erano con noi 5 tavoli alle 23 diciamo una cosa quotidiana da gestire per la maggio parte dei ristoratori ma qui no evidentemente come l'educazione. X chiudere mi veniva spacciato uno sconto su di un calice di vino x l'attesa ma che poi a conti fatti con calma il conto è stato pagato in toto....sicuramente ottimo poco cibo pessimo come educazione.TOT.
