Great location, but a disappointing culinary experience – except for the tuna The restaurant has a beautiful setting right by the harbor, which drew us in for a special dinner on our last night in this stunning part of Italy. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. Out of four dishes, only one truly stood out – the tuna, which was excellent and perfectly prepared. The octopus was tough and hard to chew, especially disappointing compared to the tender and flavorful version we had at a street food stall earlier. The gnocchi came in an unidentifiable, slightly bitter “universal” sauce, and the spaghetti were mediocre at best. It was the only culinary letdown of our whole trip. Still, I can genuinely recommend the tuna.

Beautiful dining garden, there is a possibility of sitting just by the harbour, near the water. Pasta with shrimps tasted like Spanish Paella (honestly, I was shocked, but it was almost identical) - what can be also advantage and disadvantage. It was probably made on fish broth, what should be meant in the menu, because it makes very intensive taste and not everyone will expect that. It was ok but not excellent. The second pasta that we ordered was delicious. Tiramisu had almost no savoiardi (just half of one), it was only single cream. To sum up, it was ok, but could be better.

I absolutely loved the Diecumiglia experience particularly because we were seated right by the water's edge. The servers are pleasant, easy-going and spoke English. While on the more expensive side (in NY opinion), the quality and presentation was excellent. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Brindisi particularly during the Summer.
