Il Giardino — Restaurant in Brindisi

We were quite excited to find this beautiful building and we were keen to try the restaurant . The reception is lovely and reflects an old family business with old photos on the wall . We were greeted promptly by a well dressed girl and shown to a table at the back of the outside garden . It soon became apparent that a birthday party was set up beside us . It was for. 3 year old and the guests were noisy and some smoking . We were not happy so we called the manager expecting to be the seated somewhere else . Unfortunately he was very rude and just told us to go , which we did . This is not our usual experience and we found it very disappointing . Jim and Judy Houston ....

🌟 Five stars!🌟 From the moment we entered Ristorante Il Giardino in Brindisi, Italy, we were captivated by the enchanting atmosphere and impeccable service. The starter, a delightful mix of fish and meat, was outstanding, and the main courses, especially the heavenly " spaghetti with mussels and saffron in foil " and exquisite paccheri with monkfish, left us speechless. The desserts, lovingly made by the owner, were simply divine!

Nice cosy atmosphere but quite expensive for the quality of food. We spent 200€ for 4 adults and 1 kid (5 mains and 2 fritture). The crazy expensive part was the dessert/fruit and amari which was 50€ in total! We didn't even ordered fruit and dessert the host just brought them at our table.. I indeed thought those were on the house... They shouldn't charge so much for those treats or at least should make clear those come at a...
